  Great budget hotel especially if you’re prioritizing accessibility and affordability while visiting Disney and Universal parks. Universal Dockside is right next door, which is super convenient for grabbing food, Starbucks, or last-minute souvenirs. The front desk staff was amazing—extremely friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Ivo, who took the time to answer our questions and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was genuinely warm and attentive. This level of service is something I usually expect from more expensive hotels. The rooms were clean, slightly dated, but still comfortable and well-maintained. The laundry area had a limited number of machines, but it was clean and tidy. It was easy to get laundry done in the morning or later in the evening. I felt safe at the hotel throughout my stay. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

  We are four Austian girls on a 2½-week tour of Florida and arrived in Orlando in the evening. We hadn’t reserved or booked a room. Then we saw the Best Western Hotel on Expedia at a very reasonable, almost unrealistically low price and came straight here. Luciana was our contact and was more than competent, even very accommodating; she calmly explained to us which fees are unfortunately not listed on Expedia, but gave us the option to decide for ourselves whether to book directly or via Expedia. What’s more, we’d left our toothpaste at the last hotel… she helped us out straight away and gave us a small tube! Also, there were ‘only’ two sets of towels in the room. She immediately arranged for two more sets to be delivered to our room! Thank you so much again for everything, Luciana!

  Room was decent, but the staff and service is suspicious as hell. My friend and I stayed here recently for an event. The housekeeping was very minimal, they only took out the trash and left the towels on the bathroom counter and did not bother to fix up the beds. The safe in our room was busted so we couldn't keep any of our valuables in there. Worst of all: when we realized we accidentally left something important in our room (and told them exactly where we had left it, and even showed pictures because it was a very large and distinct item) and the staff repeatedly told us that no one has found it, nor has anyone reported it to lost and found. We contacted corporate, my friend even had police involved. Someone on the housekeeping staff definitely stole it. Fun fact: this hotel has no cameras in the hallways (at least from what my friend was told by the staff and police). Do proceed with caution with that information.

  A REAL MANAGER NEEDS TO CONTACT ME. We had a terrible experience. It smelled so bad throughout the hallways and our room wasn’t any better. Blankets were musty and dirty, and when we asked for a change of sheets that handed it to us to make ourselves. We had a long day! Last thing we want to do is make our own bed. We ended up checking out after the first night. The front desk tried to offer us complimentary breakfast but I refused and we left that day. I ended up getting charged $33.76. Apparently, it is a “resort fee”. I’ve stayed at WAY better hotels that did not charge us a “resort fee” (they’ll charge me a resort fee for a basketball course I never used but can’t make our bed?) Not just that, it was not disclosed at all. I called the desk today 3/20/26 @7:46pm and spoke with Josh. I explained this to him, and demanded a refund. He said GroupOn should’ve disclosed it in the fine print or an email and that the resort fee is mandatory and it was 33.76 per night. We did not get a confirmation email from Best Western nor GroupOn. I also stayed on the phone so I can go through the motions of purchasing a room, and there was no fine print as well! I explained this to him, and he said he cannot refund the resort fee and got a really ugly attitude towards telling me “this isn’t going anywhere so you can go ahead and call Groupon”. I was astounded! How rude can you be to scam me? I told him GroupOn isn’t going to refund me, Best Western is. He said he cannot refund me and that I need to call GroupOn and if I wanted to I can dispute the charge. I asked him, “so you’re telling me I have a valid reason to dispute this charge?” He backpedaled of course. My boyfriend ended up calling him and apparently the resort fee is 16.88/night. My boyfriend said we checked out a day earlier, and Josh refunded me 16.88. So not only did he lie about the resort fee cost, but he also lied about not being able to refund it. So why wouldn’t he lie about anything else he said? This is crazy, and I want my other 16.88 refunded. I couldn’t even get the extra day I didn’t use refunded when I left!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! I WILL NEVER BOOK AT BEST WESTERN AGAIN! Edit: As you can see, they’re great at replies but choose to ignore the bad reviews! Great job.
