- SMStephen MeltzerNov 17, 20255.0My issue with this hotel was the room rates, and different prices for the same date, as reported to me my others in the group, and the fact that every time i called, the manager ,Mary was never available cause she was in a conference call! For foundation i will state, i am 78, retired 3 years ado, and was a traveling Sales person. Additionally, in the first ten years, back in the 70’s plus, i was on the road M thursday. I booked rooms in advance, and never/ever checked back to c if the rate had changed! The staff answering the phone was always courteous! I needed a room for the 15 for a wedding, Nd was quoted 275 for one night. I did not like the number and thought it was excessive for the hotel. I was told it was due ti the season in fl, starting 11-1. I booked in april, or early may! I later heard others booked for less, and kept checking, but no budging! Then and aunt to the groom told me shr got a room at 150, and no budging, after i called again. Mary the manager was on a conference call, always! Then i heard 225, and again called, and this time, a women went in the back checked the nites, and said it was written at 260. Why was I at 275. I booked Elsewhere at 175, and the room was fine! The final straw came, when i called one more time to talk with Mary, and i left my First name and number, as she was on a conference call, again! Have. Mentioned this a few times! I got a call back from someone who said, I have a new rate @ 175, plus taxes for 199! The 175 at the hotel, i stayed at included taxes. Ps. Someone else called add was quoted 300 These comments are the facts! My opinion is the manager should be changed!

We were here for 1 night for a sporting event for one of our kids. Our rooms were clean and smelled good. Beds and pillows very comfy. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, & lotion. Breakfast in the morning was actually lovely and the female employee that was running it on 8/31 was a doll! I wish I caught her name. Front desk that checked us in was friendly and helped my son with WiFi. If ever in the area I’d stay here again!
