- KHKathy Herrera2 days ago3.0I chose Best Western for it's close proximity to the hospital in Okeechobee because my sister was having surgery. The room wasn't bad but the bed was horrendous. The old metal bed base was so loud when you moved it echoed into the bathroom. When you're a tired traveller, all you want is a good night's sleep...well that did not happen with the ancient bed frame and the air conditioner that sounded like the door was opening ever time it shut off. Never again...such a waste of money. I went to another hotel close by for my second night in town. I paid half the price and slept like a baby. You guys have had many many bad reviews about these beds...why aren't they fixed? Such a shame.
