- STSimon TemplerJan 4, 20261.0The area is not great, very noisy and not upscale for being very close to Bal Harbour shops which is a very exclusive and expensive high end area. The hotel is okay on the outside but not modern inside and very old fashion decor. The restaurant or bar behind the hotel on 125th. street plays Loud music all night, it was midnight and the music was blasting away. The incidental charge for one night is $100 for credit card and $150 for cash which is too extreme. My company booked the room for me for one night and I will ask them to not book it again. The first room given smelled like dog 🐶 perhaps someone had an animal but still open the window and get rid of the smell before renting the room to someone else. The second room also had a smell like mildew or mold and old wood. At approximately 12:30 a.m. the fire alarm was triggered and everyone ordered to exit via stairs. My wife cannot walk down stairs and she was just out the hospital and they offered a wheelchair but did not provide it. No assistance whatsoever. I will not return for sure. Nope.
