There was very little room between our beds and the TV table. Breakfast is always good at HI. I used the public bathroom in the lobby and had a broken paper dispenser making my visit to the John very uncomfortable. And the hand towel dispenser empty. I would suggest more attention to detail by mgmt and house keeping.

I stopped off at hotel on way to my meeting, asked front desk if my room was ready before 3pm. If not I would just use washroom in their lobby and come back after dinner in evening. Desk gal said room not ready, then added I'll go ahead and assign your room and give you your key so you have it. NEVER told a charge for "early check in"! The situation was ridiculous. When I asked for credit from mgr. next morning, she mumbled something about it being a "new charge" from this Hampton. I won't name names as I get stuck staying at this hotel often as there are few in the area. But her customer skills were sorely lacking. She begrudgingly said she was putting a credit on my card. I'm home now and see she did not. I will also add, for the travelers benefit, this hotel is older and needs a thorough cleaning especially the room carpets and breakfast room chairs.
