Inconsistent hot water. Uncomfortable to shower when the water is barely warmer than tap but sometimes scalding hot for 2 minutes before running cold again. Front desk could not confirm a late check out until the next morning. And then even after confirming a 1pm checkout our room keys stopped working on the day we were checking out. Then hotel staff was knocking on the room door at Noon to get us to leave. I found the in room Keurig coffee maker difficult to operate even with the provided instructions. I poured in one cup of cold water and eventually had more water coming out than would fit in a one cup. Our breakfast buffet was included but when the restaurant host checked us in we filled plates with cold eggs but could not find any napkins or utensils until asking the host to get us some? Only positive is location. Only steps to the metro rail direct to the airport. Neighborhood seemed very safe.

Stayed here the weekend of 3/21/26. The location is great which is where the ‘good’ stops. Our interaction with the staff was limited but was good enough. The salt and pepper gentleman that checked us in was nice enough. The ugly: Everything about the room was miserable. The room itself was dated and dilapidated. Our room faced south towards the construction which luckily was not happening during the weekend. The room had a connecting door with another room and you can hear the adjoining room’s conversation as if they were talking to you from the bathroom. At 1AM the night before a race, I was not trying to hear about how all the other kids’ parents really like you, John. I wish John’s conversation was all we heard but we could hear every train (metro rail) pass by and arrive at a station near the block, every bus and every dingbat trying to impress women with their loud rental car. We were on the 17th floor and could still hear all that outside. And yet, those weren’t the worst things we heard. You could also hear the contents of every flush from the floors above. Our room was clearly on the path of the main plumbing stack. You could distinctly tell when folks flushed solids which was a bit of extra joy. This all led to awful sleep for two nights which made the days long and miserable as well. Not great when my partner is full on preggo and needs her sleep and when I’m trying to sleep before a big race and recover the next day. I’m IHG Platinum Elite but we booked through a third party (Vio) so I gave up on finding who to provide feedback to on-line so I am just posting our experience here.

The breakfast options for IHG Diamond members can only be classified as "spartanic" and miniscule. They even removed the bacon which often comes with eggs. No such option. While there is a yogurt parfait option with cereals in the a la carte breakfast menu such items can nowhere be found on the overly reduced IHG Diamond menu. I have been to many other IHG properties as IHG Diamond member with decent member menus but this property took savings on the breakfast menu to a new sad level. To add, the room was very dusty and not well cleaned. The top shelves at the closet area had layers of dust! The airconditioning thermostat clearly mentioned "filter needs to be changed"!!! As a result we developed headaches after several days staying in that room. Much room for improvement!

Honestly, the biggest issue with my stay was the noise at night, and it was coming from the staff. After 9 PM, there was constant door slamming, along with employees chit chatting and laughing loudly in the hallways like it was a hangout spot. It didn’t feel like a one-off thing either; it went on long enough to make it really hard to relax or fall asleep. I get that staff need to do their jobs, but this felt pretty inconsiderate of guests who are trying to rest. A hotel should be quiet at night, and this definitely wasn’t. Management should really address this, because it takes away from the whole experience. I won’t be staying here again, and I’d recommend other guests choose a different hotel if they’re looking for peace and quiet.
