Staybridge Suites Miami International Airport: Unbeatable Access, Inconsistent Quality If you need a base with easy access to all of Miami’s transit, this Staybridge Suites is a strategic choice. However, as a frequent guest of the brand, I found this particular location fell a little short of the usual standards. The Pros: Transit & Service Location: The biggest draw is the proximity to the Miami Intermodal Center. You are steps away from the Metro, Tri-Rail, and city buses, making it easy to explore without a car. Exceptional Staff: The team here is the highlight. Every staff member we encountered was kind, helpful, and professional throughout our week-long stay. The Cons: Food & Room Comfort Breakfast Quality: While the breakfast was decent, it felt "off" for a Staybridge. The waffle batter was consistently thin and runny, and the scones were unfortunately flat. Sleep Quality: I noticed the pillows weren't the brand standard I’m used to. Noise Level: Being so close to the airport and rail lines means it is very loud. The planes and trains are constant—I highly recommend using a white noise app to get a good night’s rest. Know Before You Go Parking: Be prepared for valet-only parking. While there is street parking nearby, it’s a bit of a risk in this area, so the valet is the safer (though pricier) bet. The Verdict For a week-long stay, the staff and transit access were fantastic, but the amenities felt a tier below the typical Staybridge experience. It’s a great spot for commuters, provided you pack some earplugs!

The experience with the staff was very bad, Tiffany the front desk person as when I called to confirm my room asked me if I was going to bring her something upon my arrival to the hotel . I informed the manager when I did arrived. (Mr.Michael) he said he would take care of and also compensate with free valet parking and upgraded the room we have. We spent the night and then in the morning we checked out I asked for my receipt printed and I seen I was charged for parking, I went back in and asked about it and I was meet by a employee named MARCO , he was rud and more obnoxious and he had no listening skills and pretty much told me I was insignificant as a customer. This was a bad experience I do thank the Manager Mr. Michael for his help and said to him that this could just be a good thing and turn this into a training session for Tiffany and Marco on what good customer service is and looks like.

My experience at the stay ridge hotel was phenomenal because of the professionalism of the from desk employee mark. I was so overwhelmed at the Miami international airport and once I called and spoke with marc my night got much better. He arranged a taxi to pick me up from airport safe and sound. Once I arrived to hotel he gave me a warm greeting and made me feel at home. The next day he also arranged Pedro the guy to take me to the port. I'm very happy with my stay at the stay bridge hotel and thanks to Marc I definitely will return

The hotel it's self was fine. Room was good, breakfast was good. My complaint is with the front desk staff that we dealt with. Our plane was delayed and we arrived at 11:00 p.m. When we called the hotel for shuttle service, we were told that shuttle ended at 10:45. He offered to send an Uber - to which I replied that I could get an Uber myself. He then said that the Uber drivers would rip me off and his was "trusted." So, we agreed. It took 25 minutes for his guy to show. It's under a 2 mile drive. The driver took us several miles the opposite direction, and when I questioned him he acted like he thought I was going to a different hotel. He turned around. The charge for the ride was $30. I don't know if that was too much, but seems a lot for what should have been under 2 miles. While checking us in, the same guy who sent us the Uber said that we should use his service again the next day to go to the cruise port. He told us it would take 2 hours to get there and he could get us a flat rate of $50. He almost had us convinced, but I checked timing the next morning (20 minutes) and the cost for an Uber ($19) so we declined the ride when we got the call from his guy to confirm. Talk about a rip off. This alone gave us a bad taste in our mouth for the hotel.

I caught an early flight arriving at 8:30am. I called hotel for shuttle receptionist made sure I was in the rite area to be picked up by shuttle. I arrived at hotel way earlier than check in, ladies at front desk checked to see if I was able to check in early and they made my morning. I was able to check in early because I didn’t know what I was gone do until 4p. Was even able to eat breakfast. Had a little trouble getting inside room but maintenance came immediately after I notified front desk. Had to give door a harder push then normal. As I sat at the bar, bartender gave me recommendations a place not to far from hotel that was walking distance. Didn’t want to do no drinking before eating. But my guy Mark was a great receptionist he gave me two menus for food one I had already, I didn’t know what I wanted he recommended I order the whole menu because I’m on vacation lol he hilarious. When I was ready to order he told me to let him know and he would put my order in even came to lobby area where I was sitting to get my order to place because why I’m VIP lol. My guest came and he ended up placing her order too. Even asked if I was eating down here, and if I wanted to put on a movie. As I waited made sure I was hydrated with the H2O. Mark and the rest of the team are great receptionist especially my ladies that worked this morning on 2/19 that let me check in early, because oowweee I was ready to put my feet up and sleep. My experience at Staybridge was awesome I would come back anytime and recommend this hotel. 5 out of 5.
