  Wir haben das Zimmer nur für einige Stunden tagsüber für etwa 160 Dollar gebucht - zwischen dem Check out vom Kreuzfahrtschiff und unserem Flug zurück nach Europa. Das Personal hat uns locker und freundlich begrüßt, als eine Belohnung für die Teilnahme am Hilton Treue Programm haben wir extra Wasserflaschen und Kekse bekommen. Auf jeden Fall war es eine nette Geste 👍 Klar, das Hotel ist schon ziemlich abgewohnt - erfüllt jedoch seinen Zweck. Saubere Bettwäsche, reichlich Handtücher im Bad, schnelles Wifi 🛜, Kaffee und Tee in der kleinen Küche… Alles korrekt und praktisch. Der stündliche Shuttle zum Flughafen soll am besten beim Check in angemeldet werden, ist kostenfrei und hat in unserem Fall bestens funktioniert. Alles in einem war es eine positive Erfahrung. Rechnet aber bitte mit keinem Wellnesshotel ;-))

  The rooms do not have a desk for work. No counter space. The lagoon is nothing special. There is a parking fee they do not tell you about. They do not own the parking lot. They do not offer the usual perks for Hilton Members. If I wasn't stuck here for the week for work, I would leave.

  Overall a really good experience, good location to the airport, easy access and the staff was friendly and attentive. My only knock on the a stay was that we used the sofa bed in our room and it was not clean at all…. I realize they don’t get used super often, but an occasional check and cleaning is needed. Again though, overall we were happy with our stay here.

  Front staff was kind and courteous, but that was the only saving grace. This is definitely a 1 or 2 star budget motel in an undesirable area of the city. The room was dirty, unkept and our feet were black within 10 mins from walking around on the carpet in our room. In the middle of the night we received several phone calls that woke us out of a dead sleep with no answer on the other end. Still unclear where the calls were coming from. In the morning after a sleepless night, neither shower in our suite had hot water and so we skipped showers and checked out on the way to the airport which was surprisingly still a 12 min drive to departures. Much nicer hotels within the same driving distance. Would not stay again. Spend your money elsewhere.

  Be sure to check your location. Homewood suites has several locations. We called before our arrival and they directed us to the wrong location, miami airport west, not blue lagoon. Blue lagoon does not have shuttle service until 6am. 2 ubers and a lot of frustrations. Lesson learned. Staff at miami airport west was very unprofessional and took no responsibility ility in spite of my asking 2 weeks in advance for guidance and support.
