    This accommodation is a simple airport Holiday Inn Express hotel with a shuttle bus service. It’s a good option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay before a cruise or during a long airport layover. I slept well, the rooms are nicely soundproofed. While the breakfast isn’t exactly “world-class,” it’s still satisfying and, most importantly, complimentary.

    El shuttle solo funciona desde las 7 AM, los aviones se escuchan muchísimo así que no vas a poder dormir. El desayuno empieza tarde así que tampoco vas a poder desayunar. Y un Uber desde acá sale prácticamente lo mismo que uno desde el downtown o Miami Beach. Básicamente no tiene ningún sentido hospedarse en este hotel. Le pondría cero estrellas pero no es posible

    I recently had a disappointing experience at Holiday Inn Suites Miami Airport while waiting in the lobby for a client of mine. I am a financial advisor, and on several occasions I have recommended this hotel to clients traveling from other states. In fact, I have closed business while clients were staying here. In this particular case, my client was flying in from Texas for one night in Miami. He did not yet have a reservation, as we were planning to meet upon arrival and then proceed with booking his stay. I arrived early to wait for his flight to land and intended to refer the hotel again. While waiting in the lobby, I politely asked the front desk associate, Javier, if I could briefly use the restroom. I understand that restrooms may be reserved for guests; however, the interaction escalated unnecessarily. I was told I could not wait in the lobby without a reservation and was informed that the police would be called if I did not leave. What makes this even more surprising is that on a previous occasion, Ms. Carla assisted me with exceptional professionalism and courtesy. She clearly understands the importance of hospitality and how customer experience impacts future business referrals. She represents the standard that builds loyalty. Unfortunately, this recent interaction did not reflect that same understanding. As someone who actively refers business to hotels, service consistency is critical. Hospitality is not only about current guests — it is also about how future guests are influenced by their first impression. I sincerely hope management reviews this situation to ensure that the level of service aligns with the brand’s reputation and supports long-term business relationships.

    I am not even remotely exaggerating when I say this was the worst hotel stay of my entire life. We had people sharing a wall with us screaming, stomping, yelling until 1:45am. I called the front desk twice and then eventually had to go to them to ask if there was anything they could do. Their reply? “Sorry, they’ve paid just as much as you to be here.” Ah, so I guess we’ll just compromise the stay of every other guest at the hand of a few. They front desk staff and their security guard were incredibly unhelpful. DO NOT STAY HERE.

    1/5 Terrible Tuve 2 eventos muy lamentables en un solo día que estuve, al llegar, esperé 2 horas para que me dieran habitación posterior al check in porque no tenían, tuve que estar regresando para que me dieran la habitación porque ya se les había olvidado. Posteriormente me ofrecieron transporte vía Shuttle (que yo ni siquiera pedí) al puerto donde salía mi crucero de la línea Disney Cruise Line, hice el pago y todo parecía normal. Al día siguiente llegó el transporte y no me dejaron subir "porque no iban hacia esa ruta", le pedí de vuelta entonces el monto pagado y dijeron que no me lo podían devolver, me acerqué al front desk y las señoritas que atienden "muy peladas desde un inicio", con la mano en la cintura me dijeron no podemos hacer nada y en efecto no hay devoluciones, le dije ¿pero tú me ofreciste ese servicio y te dije mi destino?, tal cual respondieron: no hay devoluciones y el transportista es externo, arréglalo con él, con la pena, el señor del transporte un pelón chaparro me azotó la tabla que traía en la mano para amedrentar mientras expresaba mi molestia, una agresión completa. Total el dínero en ese momento ya era la menor de mis preocupaciones, sino conseguir un uber y llegar. En conclusión el servicio del hotel es una vergüenza y realmente lo que me hicieron se llama "robar", ojalá esa asociación entre las chicas que atienden el front desk con el transportista les de para comer muchos días. Una lástima que gente que abusa al estar en un trabajo afecte de manera tan cínica la marca, no volvería ni regalado a ese mugrero. PD lean más comentarios abajo, refieren problemas de malos tratos con front desk.
