My husband is HiltonHonors member. This establishment left a bad taste. Let’s start: Location: Very nice safe area. Location is exceptional for cruise and airport proximity. Rooms: I can’t comment because I cancelled reservation due to unexpected change in our plans. Staff: Absolutely unreasonable to accommodate cancellation on non-refundable reservations. Please keep in mind we rarely have secured accommodations that have this as an option. And our visit into Miami was flawless at another Hilton location. Jennifer and the General Manager were beyond difficult to work with to assist in helping to refund or even create a new date for a future visit. Based on other reviews regarding their cancellation policy they leave it up to the hotel to assist. If this is an indication of how they fault to assist a customer with extenuating circumstances then please very wary of the level of customer service that will be provided. Property appearance: It look great on the outside. Well kept grounds. Parking: Apparently there is NO free parking.

Room was under Partington. We got off a cruise at 8:30 in the morning. Went to the hotel to leave our bags and asked for an early check-in. We were told by the counter that we were second in line for an early check-in and gave us a number to text if our room was ready. We texted at 11, 2, and 3 o’clock and were told that they did not have a room ready. During this time we’re in the lobby and we see people starting to get keys for early check-in. We counted at least 20 people who are allowed to check in before their 4 o’clock and we were continued continuously told that that there was not a room available for us. Outside, the pool deck has all types of uneven tiles that are tripping hazards. The carpets are all dated and old. The bathroom is a little Fugly. I would avoid this place if possible. They have to have something better around the airport than this..

This Hilton makes me want to change hotel chains. The staff was very helpful and friendly but that's about the only positive. When booking my hotel it referenced an included breakfast, upon arrival to the restaurant we were told it as $28pp so we bought coffees and food in their little shop. The hotel doesn't appear to have been updated since it was built. Chipped paint around the doors looked like they had been broken into. The pillowcases were too small for the pillows and whomever made the bed didn't know how to make one so we had to make it ourselves so we weren't sleeping half on the mattress pad. Fabric chair was nasty and stained. Two tiny towels the size of postage stamps and of the cheapest quality I've seen and frayed. God forbid if you want to take more than one shower during your stay. No extra blankets but they brought one up for us. Would not recommend.

Stayed 1 night, pre-cruise. Glad I booked through a 3rd party and saved $110 on my reservation though now that my say passed. Service: staff were all amazing! Polite and helpful, we even got into our room before check in which was much appreciated as we had been up traveling since 2am! Jennifer was very helpful through the text service as well. Rooms: pretty outdated, definitely need a serious refresh. Photo frames showed signs of age and furniture was well not very up to today’s standards. Bed was comfy but they need to invest in new comforters or at least duvet covers as it was simply covered with a bed sheet and kind of dingy looking. Mini fridge is not really a fridge, not sure how to explain. $8 bottle of water on counter, no thanks. Shower needs fixing, 1/2 the water came out the slicker and half out shower head and was very loud too, pressure was good but would have been better if worker properly. Common areas: -Gym was large and well equipped 5⭐️. -Pool was large and clean, hot tub could use a cleaning though, there’s sand in the bottom and slight residue (?from sunscreen) visible on foam. Need more lounge chairs, in mid afternoon (1pm) there were none available but ample space for more. Also the constant noise from aircraft was kind of a bummer. -Pool Bar drinks were pricy, but had a decent food selection and nice sitting area. Why put the yard games (connect 4, Jenga) right next to the smoking area, I can’t stand cigarette smoke. -Lobby and adjacent areas were clean and nice. There’s a Starbucks in the little shop which is very nice and restaurant food was as expected for a hotel, not 5 star but not horrible either. -Need new carpeting, roller suitcases did not roll very easily which was a pain in the behind as I have back issues. I also had to ask staff in hall to quiet down once as we were napping in the afternoon and could hear them from in our room. Transportation: free transport from MIA airport, driver was kind and gentle with our luggage, van was comfy. They offer a transport to cruise port for $17/pp which is very convenient. Self parking is $30/night and it is a gated lot. Overall, I think I overpaid a bit still for 1 nights stay, but it was just 1 night before our cruise. Great location close to airport and walkable area to several little shops and food places. I’d stay here again for just 1 night but probably would not do an extended stay. I am an Honors member but was never recognized as one or asked about it.

I just stayed at this Hilton and was very disappointed by the cleanliness and condition of the room — especially the bathroom. The showerhead was coated with grime and residue that looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in months, and the ceiling above the shower had bubbling paint and clear signs of water damage . When I went to the front desk to report it, the manager admitted that “all the rooms have that” and said it’s hard to clean off because they’re waiting for a renovation. For the price I paid — over $250 per night — that explanation is unacceptable. Guests shouldn’t be expected to overlook poor maintenance because a renovation is “coming soon.” The only compensation offered was a $50 on-site voucher, which doesn’t even begin to make up for the state of the room. Hilton usually stands for quality and consistency, but this property fell far short of that. I’ve requested a full refund and have been ignored more than once. So now I’m challenging the charges with my credit card.. I hope corporate reviews the condition of these rooms and enforces the standards that Hilton guests expect.
