Worst hotel experience ever. We booked this hotel because were told specifically on the phone that they hold luggage for people before check in. We got off our cruise and went straight to the hotel at 10am to drop off luggage. They refused to hold our luggage so we were forced to sit at the hotel for 5 hours waiting for a room. We were told we were "top of the list for early check in". We waited right outside the lobby by the pool. A few hours later I walked into the lobby and they were letting everyone check into their hotel rooms early! I get to the desk and ask why we weren't informed since we were told we'd get first dibs. She claimed she came out to the pool area and told everyone, which did not happen and she did not try to locate us because we were right outside the door for hours without moving. So I get to the desk to check in only to be told that now because many other people were all allowed to check in early before us there was no longer a room ready for us because they gave it to other people. She told us to come back at 3pm because there was nothing she could do. We missed plans in Miami because they refused to hold our luggage like stated, waited for 5 hours, and had our early check in room given away even though we were told we'd be first. To say we are mad is an understatement! Don't tell your guests you offer luggage storage and then refuse to take it. Also don't pretend to do us a favor by making us top of an early check in list only to give our room away to people that just arrived.

Let's start with the positive:
Staff was friendly.
Location is convenient for cruise connection.
Breakfast was good.
I should also preface that my family stays at Hilton a lot due to my husband's travel and status. We've seen both good and bad at the different levels and types of hotels.
The worst:
There was a pair of socks made into one of the beds that we didn't discover until we're ready to crash for the night after midnight. That leads me to question the cleanliness of everything.
In addition, I included a picture of the ceiling in the bathroom. There was next to no water pressure and there weren't enough towels (3 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and no wash cloths).
Overall, the carpet was... not only does it appear grungy but it's not attached well and makes it difficult to pull luggage across.

My experience at this hotel was completely unacceptable and far below the expected standard — especially considering the very high nightly rate.
My friend arrived one day earlier and the hotel’s system was simply not working. She was unable to check in, and there was no proper solution for storing her luggage. The lack of organization and support was evident from the start.
Breakfast is extremely poor for the price charged: paper cups instead of proper cups, no cold cuts at all, sour pineapple still with peel attached, and hard croissants. This is entirely inconsistent with the image the hotel promotes.
This morning, once again, the system was down and there was no Wi-Fi. In the evening, the Wi-Fi is still not functioning. It is unacceptable for a hotel presenting itself as part of the Hilton brand not to provide something as basic as reliable internet.
The most serious issue was returning to the room and finding it had not been cleaned and the bed had not been made. When I complained at reception, I was told — very casually — that housekeeping is only provided every two days. This was not disclosed on Booking.com, and there is no reduction in the rate (I paid over US$300,00 per night). They simply pointed to a sign at reception and said housekeeping staff had already left, as if not cleaning a guest room were acceptable.
Frankly, this experience does not reflect Hilton standards. I have stayed in far more modest accommodations that provided significantly better service.

The Hilton computers systems are crap and the hotel is unable to operate, make refunds, or provide service without it.
The computer system shut down. So they could not check us in to our room or take our bags. We sat in the lobby for over 4 hours waiting to be let into our room. Furthermore, because they could not check us in, we tried to cancel our room. But Corporate Hilton couldn’t cancel because it was less than 24 hours. The hotel wouldn’t cancel because the system was down locally and they couldn’t cancel. It is such a miserable experience and waste of our time. I will never go to another Hilton again.

Went to the Hilton gardens in brickel today. When we arrived, we found a lobby filled with guests and were told that the computer system was down, so no one could check in. The staff told us that t might be down all day, and that we might be stuck in the lobby until the evening.
The manager is not on site, there is no one to speak to apart from the reception staff. Maria is particularly unhelpful and vaguely hostile whenever I ask if there is any timeline or plan B. We were told there was a plan B, but we could not be told what that plan is for another 2 hours after already waiting in the lobby for 3 hours.
We called the Hilton customer service line, and we were told no refund could be given because refunds must be made with the front desk. Despite telling customer service that the front desk computers are down and unable to do literally anything, the Hilton corporate customer service line stated they could do nothing for us.
Ultimately - we can’t check in. We can’t cancel our reservation and Hilton keeps our money. We expressed this to the customer service line, and they stated that nothing could be done. So we paid for a room, they can’t get us into the room, and they won’t give us a refund.
I’m never booking a Hilton again.
