Keep away. The standards of this hotel are absolutely not implemented. First off, the valet staff does not speak English, so you better know your Spanish. You check in, get no information whatsoever about breakfast, check-out time, that the elevator is broken, et cetera. We complain about a leaking toilet in our room. Maintenance comes by, says it’s repaired, after 2 minutes, again, doesn’t speak English. And it’s still leaking. We don’t get a new room, so we have to deal with a wet bathroom floor because of the leaking toilet. No housekeeping while staying there for three nights, even though they say they come every other day. While checking out, we complain to the front desk and want a refund for our room. She writes it on a sticky note, says they will email, probably throws it away after we leave, and the only emails we get are begging us to write a feedback. Well, Hilton Garden Inn Miami, here’s the feedback …

Stayed here for one night prior to sailing on a cruise. Overall, very nice hotel for the price good food good service. The room was large and comfortable with a nice view of the pool area. Chef Madeline was above and beyond providing great service with a smile during the breakfast buffet.

Sólo funciona 1 de 3 elevadores. Hacen limpieza de las habitación cada tercer día y la instalación eléctrica en la habitación requiere mantenimiento. Por $300 USD por noche uno espera un lugar con mejor mantenimiento.

A bit shady! Prices on bar menu are not what they charge you. Along with an 18% Gratuity that is not disclosed. Not allowed to take your glass of wine to your room ! Would stay away from this property. Must have changed ownership-management since our last visit. Would not recommend!

My rating doesn't entirely have to do with the night auditor who was able to switch rooms for myself and my wife easily. She was super nice and sweet. It's the morning with housekeeping trying to fight to get into our room. We requested late checkout at 1pm because by the time we settled into the hotel from flying it was 4am. I used to do hotel management and night shift so I could see there was huge miscommunication. House keeping came by at 9am, 10:30am, and twice violently at 11:00-11:10am. I think the worst part is the lady at the front desk this morning was super nice but honestly I think she was just trying to yes me to get me out of her hair which is fair. I have done that before. However, there was not even partial compensation for an overpriced rate. I would understand if this was like a motel 6 but it's not. I don't think there needs to be full comp but something should have been done for make up for this. We didn't even get to sleep with all the intrusive interruptions. Cherry on top was my bed bug inspection found 3 can of snuff under the mattress that has been there for God knows how long.
