  We recently stayed at the Hilton Gardens Airport West in Miami and expected to utilize the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. When the driver showed up she informed us she could not provide transportation because of my husband’s collapsible scooter and said we would need to get an uber and be reimbursed I’m not sure how this hotel is able to discriminate against individuals with disabilities. We travel often and no other hotel has ever refused transportation because of a scooter. The hotel has several shuttles and could have provided transportation but refused to, the service was subpar and we will not stay at any Hilton Gardens properties again!

  Nice hotel, great pool, small fitness room but with everything you need to do a good workout. Good restaurant/bar, great breakfast.

  If I could leave zero stars I would. HORRIBLE customer service. Staff is rude and dismissive.Rooms are dirty, beds are super uncomfortable, pillows are non existent ( you could fold it 4 times literally), air conditioner is old and really super screechy and loud. The only pro - rooms are spacious. If you want any sleep just forget about it. Avoid at all cost this place.

  The room itself was nice, but we had other issues with the stay. First of all, we got a panicked phone call from the manager saying they had overbooked the original Hilton we had booked and they needed us to move. We were assured a free drink and breakfast. There's another garden inn miami within 10 miles of it so be aware when navigating there. Secondly, we were woken up very early in the morning by a lady walking up and down the halls pounding on the doors and yelling. Finally, the breakfast leaves MUCH to be desired. It is a complete mad house, we had to chase down a waitress for drinks and silverware and then never saw her again. The spread was pitiful, and they didnt refill our drinks or check on us once. Luckily we had free breakfast but of course they still asked for a tip. Never was offered the free drink either.

  Just really no customer service at all. Front desk wasn’t friendly. It was really like you were imposing on her day! Didn’t great me or acknowledge me as a Hilton gold remember or even as an honors member at all. Didn’t even look to see if they had an upgrade available for me. I had to ask about parking when I saw a sign by the desk saying you need to pay here for parking. Didn’t even ask if I had a car. The hotel is old and shows its age in various places. The Elevators have seen better days. The rooms which have recently been remodeled by the looks are missing many amenities I haven’t seen in years rooms not having. First no safe! How in these day and age do you not offer a safe. I’m traveling. I have cash, watches, jewelry, iPads and many other items with no place to keep them! Room service is only offered every other day! The closest while good size has a huge built in unit. Very very small area to hang clothes. We had here for a wedding. We have suits and shirts and slacks all the need room to hang. The very very small area also holds the ironing board which makes the space even smaller! I think this hotel is designed just for overnight stays because it’s close to the airport. It’s really not designed for the average traveler. Unless you are just needing a one night stay I would suggest you find other options.
