We stayed here before leaving for a cruise. It was a quiet hotel in a decent location related to the cruise. A nearby spot with some good restaurants and chain shops, which is fine.
The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The hotel main areas were fairly clean but some of their furniture could use updating. The couches in the breakfast area were torn up and the fake leather was flaking off.
The free breakfast was perfectly fine and had the usual items on a free breakfast.
Our biggest issue was the rooms. The beds were clean but there were quite a lot of dirty spots throughout the room. Spots that should be fairly easy to clean. It was kind of gross.
Overall it was just ok for a single night. Not sure if I'd stay again or not.

1 Star – Serious Safety & Service Failure
Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami Wynwood Design District failed in its most basic responsibility: guest safety and service.
I paid extra for a king room and was denied it at check-in with no reimbursement or accountability.
At 4:00 AM, my young daughter and I were awakened by a violent domestic dispute next door — screaming, crying, furniture being thrown. I called the front desk FIVE times. No one answered. There was zero response from hotel staff during what felt like an active and dangerous situation. Police eventually arrived, but not because the hotel intervened.
The following morning, I specifically requested that my room be serviced. When we returned later that day, it had not been touched.
To make matters worse, the manager insisted on coming to my room to “discuss” the incident(s) and repeatedly pushed to enter inside my room despite my clear discomfort. As a woman traveling alone with my child, this was inappropriate and unsettling. I have never experienced a manager coming inside a guest room to discuss a matter.
Between the safety failure, lack of response, poor service, and unprofessional handling, this stay was unacceptable. I have filed a formal complaint with Hilton.
Travelers deserve to feel safe and respected. We did not.
Arrived on 2.17.26,and had the pleasure to meet Alberte. One of the friendliest ,most helpful and professional front desk person's ever. I observed her interact with ALL of the guests,children included. She gladly answered any questions myself or my cousin had and made suggestions based on our inquiries. The room we were assigned was very nice & clean. However,we noticed the refrigerator was making noise. We advised Alberte,who came up immediately and offered to change our room.We agreed, changed rooms & left. No more than minutes later,I returned to the room to pick up something, when I saw the repairman in the first room repairing the refrigerator. How impressive!! Alberte is a real gem, I wonder why such a skilled employee hasn't been recognized and valued. She's definitely management worthy. Come on Hampton Inn & Suites,your repetition is based on great employees and service. Do better

Check in was super smooth. Our room was ready at 3pm. Our room was quiet over looking the pool. This hotel was so close to Target, and several dining options. It was a quiet night, slept well. Shower was hot with good water pressure. Morning breakfast was the Hampton typical. If in Miami I would totally stay here again. This was our pre cruise hotel.
Nuestra estadía fue regular. Al llegar, la atención de la recepcionista que estaba de turno esa noche no fue la mejor, ya que no pudo explicarnos claramente la situación del estacionamiento, especialmente porque necesitábamos utilizar un espacio de estacionamiento designado para personas con discapacidad.
Nos hospedamos solo una noche y tuvimos varios inconvenientes. El aire acondicionado hacía mucho ruido durante la noche, lo cual afectó nuestro descanso. Al despertarnos en la mañana, notamos que la nevera estaba goteando y había un charco de agua en el piso. Además, en el lavamanos no había jabón para lavarse las manos, algo que es un servicio básico.
Adicionalmente, viajábamos con una señora mayor de más de 80 años, quien tiene dificultades para caminar debido a una condición en la rodilla y utiliza bastón. Durante la madrugada, al levantarse para ir al baño, el charco de agua en el piso representaba un riesgo serio de resbalón y caída, lo cual fue muy preocupante. Por último, la cama resultó un poco incómoda. Consideramos que estos problemas deberían corregirse para garantizar la seguridad y comodidad de los huéspedes. /// Our stay was average. Upon arrival, the service from the front desk receptionist on duty that evening was not the best, as she was unable to clearly explain the parking situation, especially since we needed to use a designated parking space for guests with disabilities.
We only stayed one night and experienced several issues. The air conditioner was very noisy during the night, which affected our rest. When we woke up in the morning, we noticed that the refrigerator was leaking, leaving a puddle of water on the floor. In addition, there was no soap at the sink to wash our hands, which is a basic amenity.
Furthermore, we were traveling with an elderly woman over 80 years old who has difficulty walking due to a knee condition and uses a cane. During the night, when she had to get up to use the bathroom, the puddle of water on the floor posed a serious slipping and falling hazard, which was very concerning. Lastly, the bed was somewhat uncomfortable. We believe these issues should be addressed to ensure the safety and comfort of guests.
