Don't believe them when they say they have a SHUTTLE from the airport..... The first call she told us to go to the second floor DEPARTURE. THE SECOND CALL WE MADE TO THEM HE ASKED WHAT KIND OF VEHICLE ARE WE LOOKING FOR AND SHE SAID HE HADN'T LEFT YET AND IT WOULD BE AN ORANGE BAND. THE THIRD CALL, HE STILL HADN'T LEFT YET AND SHE SAID IT WOULD BE ABOUT 20 MINUTES. AND HE'S STILL NOT HERE

Perfect place to spend the night before getting on a cruise ship. The airport is 1/4 mile away and you can see the runway clearly from the 10th floor. We were worried the sounds of planes would keep us up. We never heard them. The bed was comfortable, -take the coverlet off or you will overheat- they had options for pillows with out down feathers, the window shade was a solid one piece light blocking shade for those who are bothered by light, there was a small fridge and microwave, the bathroom was nice and the soap, shampoo and conditioner we nice quality and smelled good. There was a small ightlight. There were typical stains and noises from the hall. Breakfast was excellent on the Friday right after Christmas. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, mixed fruit was very good no metallic after taste like some places. Mango flavored water was nice. The place was packed and they were short of places to sit. I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable stay! Clean rooms, cozy beds and pillows, and everything you need in the washroom. Great service too—reception even had a toothbrush when I forgot mine. Highly recommend!

As a 25-year Hilton Honors member, I’m genuinely disappointed to write this, but the service at the Hampton Inn Miami Airport on 12/19/2025 fell well below the standard Hilton claims to represent. My wife was traveling from Detroit to Miami and her flight was delayed twice. She didn’t choose that. She ended up stuck in the airport for hours and wasn’t scheduled to arrive until after 1:30 a.m. Given the circumstances, she called the hotel simply asking for reasonable consideration and a little flexibility. The response she received was not helpful, not accommodating, and lacked basic empathy. I then called the hotel myself expecting the kind of ownership and problem-solving Hilton is supposed to be known for. Instead, I spent nearly 30 minutes being transferred around, sent to the manager multiple times, and essentially looped in circles with no one taking responsibility or offering a real solution. It felt like the goal was to wear me out rather than help a tired traveler who had already had a long night. At that point I called Hilton Honors for support. I spent another 32 minutes on the phone, only to be told the “resolution” was a complimentary noon checkout, when checkout is 11:00 a.m. An extra hour, after hours of flight delays and nearly an hour of phone calls trying to get assistance, is not meaningful consideration. After all that my wife was still forced to leave at 11:00. I’ve worked in the service business my entire life, and I currently help develop and teach a service training curriculum with schools and businesses. This experience will be used as a real-world test subject in that curriculum, specifically as an example of what happens when empathy, communication, and ownership are missing at the property level. That’s not a position Hilton should ever want one of its hotels in. I understand policies. But hospitality is about judgment, care, and making things right when circumstances outside the guest’s control create a problem. This property did none of that. The attitude, the lack of ownership, and the unwillingness to provide reasonable accommodation do not reflect Hilton’s service standards at all. If Hilton wants to be known as the benchmark for hospitality, this location needs immediate improvement in training, communication, and guest-first decision-making.

On the up side, the bed was comfortable and the room was reasonably quiet. It was also reasonably large. The shuttle driver at 7am was excellent. Couldn’t get an answer from the front desk or housekeeping when I needed a pillow. The room smelled bad, there was a Keurig with coffee but no cups. I generally like the Hilton Brand but this particular hotel was a bit disappointing.
