    Just 1 night's stay before a cruise. Rooms are nice, clean, and relatively quiet air conditioner. All ofnthe lights worked, which is a plus. The only negative is a strange alarm clock that apparently nobody can figure out, nor wants to. It was 4 hours ahead when we got to the room. When I tried to go to sleep, the entire clock is a big light that I couldn't figure out how to turn off. So I unplugged it. Otherwise, very good experience.

    The hotel does not serve breakfast it has alacarte. Never have I been in any place that did not offer a breakfast with your room. The view was over looking some flat roof. Also the fair to go to the boat dock was raised to $17.00 instead of $15.00 and they no longer accept cash. All in all we are disappointed in our accommodation. But through our private group this was the designated option.

    Beware: Charged After Checkout With No Explanation I want to warn other travelers to be very careful when staying at this hotel. My son stayed at this property from December 1 through December 4. Four days after he checked out, the hotel charged his credit card $182.97 with no explanation. We began calling the hotel on December 8. A front desk associate named Valerie was kind enough to look into the charge but stated she could not see any reason for it. She assured us not to worry and said the amount would be refunded within 2–3 days. That refund never happened. Since then, we have called the hotel weekly. Each time, we are told we must speak with the finance department. I left a voicemail for finance and never received a return call. On subsequent calls, the front desk transfers us to finance, only for the call to be disconnected or hung up. To date, the hotel has not provided any explanation or documentation to justify this charge, nor have they issued the promised refund. Because of this lack of transparency and follow-through, we are now forced to dispute the charge with our bank. This has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. If you choose to stay here, I strongly recommend monitoring your credit card statements closely after checkout. Based on our experience, resolving billing issues with this hotel is very difficult. BEWARE!

    My husband and I stayed last night with complementary vouchers from American Airlines due to our flight being delayed and rebooked from Miami. I love that hotel had a shuttle, close to airport but far from stores, etc. the check in was super fast and young lady at desk was very nice. The room was good but the bedding smelled old as though comforter hadn’t been washed and there was no hot water. Morning check out was easy, but girl at desk was rude, no eye contact she looked irritated and didn’t even say good morning. I know was super early 4ish in morning but when working especially at front desk person should always greet their customers

    Worst place ever!! Extremely poor customer service, my plane got delayed 4 hours so I missed my connecting flight and the airline agreed to pay for one night and my meal at any of the 3 hotels they provided me with, and I had the smartest idea of choosing this Even Hotel, when we arrived at the Miami international airport I went to the airline (AA)customer service and they gave me the number or direct me on where to get the phone number for the hotel, so I called and spoke to a lady on the phone I told her I had a voucher for the stay she told me to give it to the front desk when arrived! So after making my reservation we took an uber to the hotel cause they only had one van working at the time and it had already passed an hour so we decided to take an uber there, when arrived I gave the front desk my name and showed her the voucher then she said you have to reservations and will cancel and charged you for one, I asked her why, she repeated I had 2 reservations and I was responsible and o pay for one, I told old the lady I had no idea about the 2nd reservation and that I had no old the lady on the phone I had a voucher, she said another my problem the airline should off told you about the reservation and she charged my credit card, then I called their customer service line and explained them the situation they tried to get a hold of the receptionist but she just ignored the phone, at the end we took another uber back to the airport and stayed there for 8 1/2 hours! In my experienced I wouldn’t recommend that place to anyone! Sorry for any mistyping but I’m tired. Hope this helps.
