Booked 2 rooms, got to hotel and the front desk staff says iwe only have one. We show the booking, the cost and she told us that the 3rd party must have screwed up and went to the next person in line. Literally she said there was nothing she could do and left us standing there. We had to talk to a “manager” and finally they realized their system messed up. No apology, didn’t feel a bit bad. Stood at front desk for 45 min dealing with this - Absurd. FINALLY got a room, AC doesn’t work. I talk to the same staff (Young girl, dark hair) and she put a note in computer about AC. I said ok, what does that do? They did NOTHING. Didn’t see anyone, didn’t fix it and didn’t even offer another room. What?! Service is the worst I’ve seen in a long time. This girl did not want to deal with anything. Add in the CRAZY food prices. Restaurant staff was the only good part. AVOID.

I stayed at the Even Hotel Miami Airport for one night. Check-in was smooth, and the lady at the reception was friendly, professional. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. Restaurant staff were very friendly & accommodating. However, my only complaint concerns the attitude and rudeness displayed by Ceasar at the front desk. He was unfriendly and dismissive. When I asked about the prepaid meal voucher—which clearly stated it included one entrée, one dessert, and one non-alcoholic beverage—he showed me a note on his personal phone saying that my only options were chicken nuggets, wings, or a burger. I didn’t mind paying the difference to order from the regular menu, but when I asked about the voucher value, he had no idea. Instead, he banged his phone on the desk twice and told me, “Your food is free, eat or you can leave.” He even claimed I had disrespected him simply for asking questions about the voucher. This was a shocking customer service experience. I’ve been traveling for over 35 years and have never encountered anything like this. Unfortunately, despite the hotel’s beauty and otherwise pleasant staff, this incident has ensured I will not be returning. Thank you for your hospitality.

Based upon my experience with this hotel, I would not recommend it. I paid for advanced parking and, when I returned, the key card for exiting did not work. With cars behind me, I needed to get out so paid the regular parking price -- which was considerably more than what I already paid. I immediately went to the front desk and was told they could do nothing about it. After pressing the point, I finally was told perhaps I could try someone in billing. Nobody was available at the time (post-5pm), so I began a series of calls to accounting and the manager in the following days. Accounting's voice mail always was full (except in one instance when the representative peremptorily routed me back to the front desk). I left multiple messages with the manager, none of which were returned. I explained the issue to the third-party partner to whom I made the smaller advanced payment, and it apologized and refunded that sum without further ado. That still leaves me with the differential based upon the disparity of amounts between the advance payment and what I had to pay to get out of the garage. It seems to me that the innocent third-party agent has been disadvantaged by covering some of the cost, I have been disadvantaged by losing the differential between advance payment and what I had to pay on site, and the hotel has prospered by being able to retain the value of double charging me. The lack of responsiveness or interest that I have encountered indicates to me that customer service may be a significant issue. Perhaps this matter would have been resolved if someone had responded to my calls or messages. For this hotel, I note there are some very positive reviews. As with any review, therefore, please keep in mind that my experience could have been a true outlier

Booked through Expedia and paid our stay in full back in June for our trip in October. When we checked in they required a card on file for incidentals, which is pretty common so we thought nothing of it. 3 days after we got home they charged our card over $100.00. I called the front desk and it does nothing but have a dial tone. Ended up calling the corporate office after multiple failed attempts to get ahold of the front desk directly. They told me they would get ahold of the front desk and they had 24-48hr to contact me directly. I got an email 48hrs later, and I understand Miami is a very hispanic area, but the email I received from their front office supervisor was such broken English, I could barely understand it. I sent the information she required to "investigate the unauthorized charge." Over a week and multiple emails back to them and I still haven't gotten a response. The weirdest part of this entire thing is on my bank statement the change say "EVEN HOTEL MIAMI" and the merchant was listed under AMAZON. Did an employee steal my credit card info? Was it an accidental charge on behalf of them? Did someone charge something to my room from the restaurant we never stepped foot in? I wouldn't know because they have completely ignored me. Oh and to top it off, someone was talking about roaches in their room when we left. NEVER AGAIN will I deal with this company or any of their properties again. Completely unprofessional.

Our one night was very lackluster! Our original hotel Townplace transported us due to being overbooked to this hotel which wasn’t the greatest at all ! Soon as we walk in the music was extremely loud to where we could hear the front desk staff! Then we witnessed a staff member snatching the phone off the desk throwing it behind him on the other desk which was random and confusing to us and another family checking in! Then I tried asking about cruise transportation and due to the music being so loud she was instantly signing our names to the book for pick up which I had to ask her to take that off. We tried to order food to go from the restaurant there and the man was rude then tried to force us to pay gratuity after asking for it to be took off! He was already rude and we simply wanted to pay cash for gratuity ! We ended up having to DoorDash food since there wasn’t no food places to walk to ! Then we said never mind he caught an attitude took the food ticket then stormed off to the kitchen! We asked for copy of the paper our previous hotel gave us for moving us there and was denied that because they needed that for their records ! This was to avoid the morning shift saying we couldn’t be provided breakfast that Townhome said they will pay for as well! In which that happened and we was told that not how that worked. She did ask another staff about it then gave us a food vaulter for 2. She was pleasant and apologized for our experience but as a person coming from out of town I wouldn’t recommend this hotel after this experience!
