The DoubleTree by Hilton Miami North I-95 offers convenient highway access for exploring Miami attractions like Wynwood and the Beach but suffers from a less-than-ideal surrounding areas. Very comfortable beds, clean rooms, friendly staff (especially for check-in), warm cookies, and the quality of the cooked-to-order breakfast is great. It's a solid, budget-friendly option for location convenience and comfort if you don't mind the neighborhood or potential traffic noise and to use this hotel as a hub to drive to various destinations in Miami or Fort Lauderdale.

Surprised this hotel still has Hilton brand. The room was nice but oversized for AC unit and windows were absolutely filthy. Couldn't close bathroom door as no air in there and would get uncomfortably hot. The carpets in the hallway were always dirty and not even stretched properly. I ran out of bodywash in shower and told room attendant that cleans room and was left a bar of Irish Spring soap. The chair in the room was so stained and gross I didnt feel comfortable even sitting in it. Be careful of location very rough area with lots of homeless all around.

Extremely overpriced for how bad the neighborhood is. My husband booked the room with "Hot Breakfast included" only to find out in the morning that was not included. Not even coffee or tea which is standard in Hilton hotels. The front desk clerks were amazing and very helpful. The woman who delivered food to our room had a horrible attitude, even when she called the room to confirm the order. Still gave her a tip even though gratuity was already added to the dinner bill. The room and hallways were very clean!

I was going on a cruise and stayed here the night before. Upon checking in, my card was declined. Twice. Called capital one and was told there was no amount being charged. They never received the request. The person behind the counter offered no reason. I tried my wife’s card but the same thing happened. Used a different card and had no problems. Went to the restaurant that was on location and after standing by the bar for ten minuets, waiting patiently, the barkeep asks what I needed, and then proceeded to help everyone else and never came back. I waited another 5 minutes just to see. It was not very busy but I also didn’t see anyone else helping. So, I would never stay here again. Glitchy service. The room was adequate but nothing to think, “well the room was so awesome that I can forgive the rest”. It was New Year’s Day and the guy behind the counter acted like his job was not to try to figure this out. The lady helping sis t have the time. I get better service at motel 6. The windows were so dirty you could barely see out. Some good, the lobby was clean and had beautiful plants. The beds were adequate and cleaned although the room had no heat and it was in the 40s at night. I know it’s usually hot in Miami but no heat at night, in the winter?

This is the noisiest hotel that I have ever stayed at. My room was by the elevator which usually isn't an issue for me, but the stairwell and ice machine where also nearby. The walls are so thin that I heard people coming and going all through the night, loud conversations by the elevator, the door constantly slamming to the stairwell and the occasional ice dump. In between all of that, I could hear all the traffic outside even though I was on the 6th floor. I could hear hwy 95 and cars revving their engines on the local streets below. The thermostat didn't properly set the room temperature of my choice either. The first night I was here, I ordered room service. $50 for some chicken wings, a salad and a soda and it was absolutely NASTY. It took forever to be delivered to my room and the chicken was very cold and disgusting. The soda was made with unfiltered water and was also nasty. Although the room was clean and the hotel front desk were very nice, I would never ever stay at this hotel again. I would also NOT recommend it to anyone, not even my worse enemy. I got NO rest here. I'm so ready to go home that I don't even want the free breakfast. Smh...
