  Wish I could remember the young man's name at the front desk (night of 4/3/26)! I'd love to give him a shout out personally. Super friendly, great small talk and seemed to have a similar sense of humor. Poor guy was still working when I went down this morning and when we left late morning. Room was great also, we had I believe the largest room they offer, slept 5 comfortably.

  I stayed at Candlewood at the end of January. I initially called before booking because there were so many bad reviews but I saw one that mentioned there were renovations and it was under new management. I spoke to a gentleman - Hasan- who assured me renovations were completed on the property and they were certainly under new management. I booked and Hasan was just as helpful in person as he was over the telephone. Unfortunately, the property fell significantly short of a basic stay. The outer appearance of the propery was dilapidated and I was concerned. Upon entering Building B, a stench of old and visibly worn carpet greeted us. The room carried a similar musty scent that came from the visibily dirty brown vents as they below air in the room. The closet and wooden door to the bathroom also smelled terribly I called the front desk and a friendly member of Housekeeping sprayed a foam substance on the carpet to help with the smell. And it did but only for a short time. The bathroom appeared visibility dirty from stained grout, rusty shower handle and when I stepped into the shower I immediately recoiled at the soft texture of the tub which was lumpy under my feet. Our stay was uncomfortable, felt filthy and smelled terribly. (Photos attached) We couldn't use the kitchen as the cupboards also appeared unclean. Chair provided was also stained. I could tell that some new furniture was in the room. However, mixing old, outdated, with a few new items and renovations that were done carelessly is not good enough. Used the laundry but my clothes were not washed properly as the machine didnt seem to have water flowing to it and a member of staff restarted the cycle to help but it didnt work as a machine is supposed to. I do not recommend this hotel. It is a place I will not return to.

  Want to give an amazing shoutout to Kadlan at the front desk for helping us out when we were in a bind, she was so kind and helpful! Also, rooms were pretty clean and decent sized, nice little kitchenettes! There are laundry services onsite too as well as free parking.
