    We really enjoyed our room, after getting off our Cruise and having a coffee maker and microwave was awesome! The bed was so soft, only complaint I have was last night while trying to enjoy a nice dinner. This guy was on the phone and had his girlfriend on speaker for a long time then they’d hang up for two minutes and she’d call back and he kept going and going. I just thought it was so rude doing that in the dining room, that’s about it. Everything else was perfect and we would definitely stay here again very reasonable also!

    Me and my partner had the best experience in this hotel back in January. We were returning from our honeymoon cruise and got stuck in Miami due to a snow storm in New England. The staff was incredibly accommodating which meant a lot to us due to the stress we were in. The rooms were clean when we entered, and got cleaned while we were out on our second day. The airport shuttle was really convenient as well. We would definitely book this hotel again.

    My complaint is with the 9th floor restaurant. I ordered cola wings, they arrived hot, but they were really fried hard. The wings were very hard. They were rather small for the price. A few in our group had burgers which were fine. The bummer was one person in our group never received her burger. After waiting for 30 min the burger arrived, even after the waitress told her it was being cooked 30 minutes ago. When we decided to leave the burger arrived. They did comp the burger for her. But overall the serviced was below par. So overall the service just wasn’t there. On top of that they charge an automatic gratuity of 18%. I’ll check out the breakfast in the morning. Stay tuned!!!

    I want to give a big shout out to the lobby café worker YUNIOR. he is truly a hard worker. He’s under so much pressure with everyone wanting to order and he does it all with a smile on his face. He was a pleasure to meet. He made my late night cravings fun lol. I will be returning soon just because of his hospitality!!!!! Café is open til 2AM and the food is good!!! Reasonably priced. The hotel itself is outdated but clean. I had a corner room and it was spacious which I was told corner rooms are slightly bigger than the others. They also have a rental car company in the lobby if you need that for your trip which we did as well for one night they charged us $85 plus an authorization hold deposit of $250 which is refundable as long as the vehicle was returned the way we took it . Very convenient! YUNIOR deserves a raise for sure or promotion.

    Stayed here for one night with my family prior to boarding a cruise, and while the check-in process was smooth and the front desk staff were polite, the overall stay was deeply disappointing. After a 20-hour drive with a child, we were grateful for the convenient café downstairs and expected to finally get some rest. Instead, we were kept awake for hours by extremely loud music from an event being held on the 9th floor. We were on the 5th floor, and the noise was so intrusive that sleep was impossible until the event ended several hours later. What concerns me most is the complete lack of communication or consideration for guests. There was no prior notice, no warning, no email, and ultimately no meaningful apology for the disruption. We paid for a place to sleep after a very long day of travel, and the hotel failed to provide the most basic expectation of a restful environment. To make matters worse, the property itself shows clear signs of neglect. The halls and rooms are covered with paint “band-aids” attempting to hide mold, stains, and significant wear—issues that go far beyond simple touch-ups and point to a long-overdue need for major updates. As a result, we are now boarding our cruise exhausted after a miserable night. This stay fell well below reasonable standards, and the lack of guest consideration was unacceptable. We are loyal to IHG and have never had this type of experience at a Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express; going forward, we will have to entertain alternative options in the area after this experience. So, we did not feel it possible to give more than one star after the most basic purpose of a hotel was not provided for us which was a peaceful night of sleep.
