  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great experience at Holiday Inn Miami International Airport – Blue Lagoon. Michael at the front desk was amazing—super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. He made the whole experience smooth and pleasant from the moment I walked in. Staff like him really make a difference. Big thanks to Michael! 👏

  My flight was delayed due to a blizzard and called them to either cancel the reservation or move it a day later. Two different people told me that they would hold the room for me until then next day (one being from chase, who I booked with and the other being a female employee there that I called to confirm. Something told me to call again them when I landed and I got this guy which I do know his name but refuse to take food out of someone’s mouth. It seemed like they didn’t care. Told me there was no notes in the system about me calling and there was nothing they could do. I even asked him for a corporate number that I can call to get a refund and he wouldn’t provide that. Rushed me off the phone because he had people in front of him. I then called chase which reached out to them for me and all of a sudden they have notes in the system and it was their mistake. Whether it was lack of support for this employee or they were just over their job, regardless it was horrible customer service which is sad because friends have stayed there and stated how great the employees are. The Chase rep. did tell me that I’ll be getting a refund and I’ll gladly take this review down whenever that comes through. Do better.

  The hotel is ok I suppose for a night to lay your head by the airport. Now the roof top bar & restaurant…. Just stay away! It’s terrible. Terrible service. Drinks are ok but way way watered down for 17-21$ a drink. The food is ok but took us 2hrs to get our food after ordering. Very very high priced. The restaurant killed the stay. The hotel bus/van driver also dropped everyone’s luggage out onto the road leaving the rear doors open. He had the van over capacity. About 3 crashes to the hotel.

  Older hotel that could really use an update. Honestly the carpet was the worst. Everything else was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was somewhat noisy with guests arriving and leaving at all hours due to flights, but that is to be expected. The shuttle was excellent and flawless. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The dining was great and the staff at the restaurant was great too. I personally will choose to stay somewhere else next time unless they do a major remodel and update sound, doors, carpet, etc. but for the price point now, it will work for some folks.

  OK place for afternoon arrivals into airport for next morning cruise embarking... Rooms were spacious and ok (nothing special and no charging ports by bed), but the whole hotel felt just a bit worn. Pros - Free shuttle from Airport. Also $14 shuttle to port the next morning if you just book it when you check-in, however an uber was cheaper so we opted for that. Rooftop bar had a great $5drink Happy Hour.
