Wow, I wish I had read all the Negative Reviews before I booked this hotel! Checking in was a major hassle! Lugging our luggage and cooler up 20 stairs was a major Hassle! Parking the car was a major hassle! The Front desk did the minimum and demonstrated no kindness! The rooms are TINY!!! I’ve stayed in about 20 Hiltons in the past year and this one is the worst by far! You would think with all the negative reviews manage would do something to improve it….but maybe the problem IS the Management! Hilton should be ashamed!

Close to the beach, that might be the best part... The shower was large and spacious,
There's no parking, there's no warm baked cookies, there's nobody welcoming me and acknowledging my hotel membership status. Possibly the smallest room I've ever stayed in. The fridge worked great.
The additional charges were not adequately advertised.
6th floor view from the window was not as advertised.
Checked into this hotel and was told valet parking was available. When I asked to use it, I was then told valet was full and that I needed to find street parking on my own. I asked if there was a parking lot or designated area and was simply told to “go that way” while the front desk pointed up the street.
I eventually found street parking that only allows 6-hour parking, meaning I have to wake up at 3:00 AM to reset the meter. Completely unacceptable for a hotel stay.
When I asked about the on-site restaurant, I never received a clear or direct answer. I then asked how to turn on the heat in the room and was told it cannot be turned on, despite it being 48 degrees outside. I requested four blankets and was only given two.
Overall, the lack of communication, basic amenities, and customer service was shocking. Never stay here. Find another hotel. If I could give this place fewer stars, I would.

We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 a.m., and as a Diamond member with over one million Hilton Honors points, I’ve worked hard to maintain my status and truly value the benefits that usually accompany it. Unfortunately, this stay did not reflect the Hilton standard I’ve come to appreciate.
Communication was difficult, as many staff members seemed to have limited understanding of English. The hotel has seven floors, and although I was checked in on the 5th, I was told there were no available upgrades. The only alternative offered was a room on the first floor, which was in a high-traffic area. By 3:30 p.m., I still had not been notified that a clean room was ready. My wife and I waited as we were told the room will be ready soon. Wasted our entire day.
When I mentioned to the receptionist that I was willing to cancel my reservation—even though it was prepaid and non-refundable—she immediately contacted housekeeping, and suddenly the room was ready. The hotel itself appeared nearly empty, yet it felt as though preference was given to Spanish-speaking guests. The waiting area was occupied by individuals who seemed to be staff or associates handling their own personal business. Overall, the environment felt more like a motel than a Hilton property.
The service was poor, the rooms were very small, and carts were left in the hallways as though there was no proper storage space. It felt like a waste of our time, money, and loyalty to the Hilton brand. For guests who do not speak Spanish, this location may present additional challenges.
Additionally, I was given a $20 breakfast voucher. The receptionist told me the breakfast staff would explain the discount, but they themselves had to return to the reception desk to find out the amount. The $20 covered only one croissant and two glasses of juice, which tasted like powdered mix. Jesús, the breakfast staff member, was kind and did his best, but it was clear he was simply following the rules given to him.
This experience did not represent the Hilton family well, and I hope steps will be taken to improve the service, communication, and overall guest experience.
