I have not been able to travel alone with my husband for 34 yrs after us having 5 children and then after being laid off after 13yrs money is tighter than ever. Deciding to stay here for a concert near by was perfect. 2 rooms for 2 couples. Also the reunion of two besties from 12 yrs old now in our 50’s..Until I broke my toe on this bench. Going on the water taxi, restaurant, shopping and bar hopping for the day was the worst time of my life sadly hobbling around in severe pain trying not to damper our day and plans that were prepaid was the hardest thing I had to do, just to try to take advantage of what we paid over $300 each for 1 night, the balcony seats had cigarette burns and the table was filthy. I wish I could have a do over since what seems like a tiny inconvenience was the worst thing that could happen while on vacation. There is not enough room to walk between the table wall and this bench. As seen in pic the legs are so skinny and stick out slightly they easy broke my toe. 🥺

Corporate Planners Beware: Billing Chaos, Broken Promises, and Collection Threats Our experience with Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort’s billing department was a complete operational failure from start to finish, and I would strongly recommend against booking a corporate event at this property. We prepaid our contracted group amount in full. Despite that, upon arrival, multiple members of our team were mistakenly charged thousands of dollars each for room and tax that had already been paid in advance. Guests were also billed for fees that were explicitly covered under our agreement. On top of that, valet was charged at the wrong rate. We flagged these issues immediately on day one of our stay. We were told it would be fixed. By checkout, three days later, nothing had been corrected. We were then told it would be resolved that night. It was not. It took days after departure and repeated follow-ups from us to get improperly charged amounts refunded to our team’s credit cards. There was no proactive communication, no urgency, and no ownership. Then, after all of that, we were informed there was a new “final balance” due because of a Hilton billing error involving tax calculations. The explanation changed multiple times, first an extra night, then a tax issue, then a booking error. Each time the mistake was acknowledged as internal. We were told a payment link had been sent. It was never received. It was allegedly sent to the wrong person, despite the agreement being signed by me and all payments being handled by me. Instead of confirming receipt. Instead of ensuring their own payment system worked. Instead of resolving their admitted errors professionally. They escalated to threatening collections and “appropriate legal process” over $710. After they: Misbilled multiple guests thousands of dollars Charged fees that were already prepaid Charged the wrong valet rate Failed to correct errors during the stay Failed to resolve them by checkout Failed to resolve them the night they promised Took days to issue refunds Sent payment links to the wrong person Revised the “final bill” multiple times Then threatened collections Being told that “professionalism works on both sides” after that sequence is astonishing. If you are planning a corporate event, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The risk, stress, and administrative burden created by their billing department are not worth it. If you do decide to book here, scrutinize every invoice, monitor every guest charge in real time, and document everything. Do not assume their billing department will handle it correctly. This was not a small accounting oversight. It was a systemic breakdown in billing controls, communication, and accountability.

If you enjoy the thrill of paying premium prices for the privilege of being nickel-and-dimed, Hilton Cabana is waiting for you. Do yourself a favor and reject any room ending in "06" immediately. It’s a viewless shoebox that no status-holding member should ever be subjected to. We had to stage a minor protest to get moved to a room that didn't feel like a walk-in closet, which is exactly how I love starting a vacation. Once you’re settled, perform a formal inspection: check if the phone actually works and pray you like your showers at a permanent "molten lava" setting, because the temperature dial apparently only moves in one direction—up. The logistics are equally adventurous. If there’s another car in the driveway when you arrive, don’t expect the valet to move it; you’re better off settling in for a long winter. The "resort fee" is a work of financial fiction, granting you the "luxury" of a beach lounger while charging an extra $30 a day for an umbrella. And whatever you do, guard your towel card with your life. If you lose that plastic slip, they’ll charge you enough for a replacement towel to fund a small startup. It’s a bold way to treat guests, but hey, at least the mattresses are rock-hard if you’re looking to align your spine via blunt force. On the bright side, the front desk staff is genuinely friendly, and the on-site coffee shop is actually good. Just be prepared to blow your entire $30 F&B credit on two coffees and two pastries—a bargain in a world where math doesn't exist. Housekeeping is also a bit of a "choose your own adventure" game; they didn’t bother showing up on our second day despite a specific request. The location on the beach is undeniably great and the two-pool setup is a nice touch, but you’ll need to be poolside by dawn if you want a seat. It’s a beautiful spot, provided you don't mind the feeling of someone reaching for your wallet every time you blink.

Overall my experience in terms of how much I paid was not up to the mark. I was hoping a better service from Hilton which was not meeting the bar. Front desk person was rude and not welcoming at all. He told us our room is not ready and we will get a text when it will get ready. We waited till 4:30pm and we never got the text. We went to the front desk to check and he mentioned that the room is ready from quite some time now. When we went into the room, the towels were dirty and we coud cleary see the stains on it. We had similar experience in Allison restaurant where I requested my waiter to provide sourdough bread with my omellete and he is like we can't do that. I told him, I am ready to pay extra for the bread and he started to tell me that he might get in trouble if he do so. I told him let me talk to the manager to understand what will be the trouble and he came back after 5 min saying yes we can do it. When he served the omellete, he didn't serve the fries which are part of it. I asked him where is the fries and then he said he forgot that. Overall, I don't expect Hilton to have such sub standards and hope they improve the guest experience.

Starting upon arrival this has been the most unaccommodating stay I've ever experience. We fly in from MS to Miami to celebrate 25 years of marriage. We were hoping for a great stay but it has been the worst! This is the 2nd time a Hilton hotel has given us terrible service on our anniversary. Last year they gave our room away in Gulfport MS. We have been members for a long time. Continuing to pay for to meager, inhospitable, accommodation is what we intend to do. We are sitting here listening to the restaurant phone ring to order room service, they will not answer!!! Now breakfast is over! We can’t even get room service. The housekeeping staff and outside attendant have provided good customer, everyone else we've come in contact with has acted like we are not suppose to be here! These rooms are uncomfortable feel “thrown together”! So thanks for absolutely NOTHING!!! I have never left a review while still at the establishment, but this one could not wait! When we call front desk the phone rings at least 10 times and concierge is not helpful at all. I lost my Ray Ban charging case in the lobby when I called the front desk I was told quick it wasn’t up there. However when I went to the lobby a lady I had not seen during our stay, turned around and the case was right there. He did not even look, and I knew he was just brushing me off.
