    Great location, South of 5th neighborhood, right on the beach and the boardwalk, walkable to everything. Very friendly and helpful front bell/bag, check-in, and concierge team! Enjoyed breakfast, and happy hour at the on property restaurant, Santorini, also with friendly and helpful staff.

    Nice stay overall, but not quite the Diamond-level experience I expected. I arrived with Hilton Diamond status hoping for early check-in, an upgrade, or late checkout, unfortunately none were available. Pros: The beach is beautiful and definitely the highlight. Most of the staff were kind and welcoming, especially the bell team and restaurant staff. The fitness studio is a nice bonus, and the women’s side even has a sauna inside, which I loved. Cons: If you’re in the West Wing (which seems to be a large portion of the rooms), getting to your room is a bit of a trek, the hot tub is TINY. Also, the check-in staff were unwelcoming, like it was an inconvenience to be there, but hey, you do get two bottles of water at check-in… so there’s that. Great location and beach access, but service at arrival could definitely improve.

    We stayed at Hilton Bentley South Beach for four nights, paying nearly USD 700–800 per night as Diamond members. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had. The hotel is extremely outdated and poorly maintained: • Loose furniture and uneven tables • A low-quality coffee machine that overflowed and caused burns • Water filter warning light that was never properly resolved • Very unstable WiFi • Poor housekeeping (cups still had lipstick marks) This is far below the standard of a luxury or five-star property. Before arrival, we emailed multiple times to request that our two reservations be combined. The hotel confirmed this, yet during our stay, our key suddenly stopped working without any prior notice. We were later told we had to remake our keys ourselves. On the last day, our Diamond late checkout request was denied due to group bookings, but we were never informed in advance. This left us no time to properly prepare. When we asked for help, the front desk was unhelpful and even implied we were being “rude” simply for requesting to speak with a manager. Most disappointing of all: we filed a formal complaint with Hilton Corporate and were told we would receive a response within three days. It has now been over a week with absolutely no follow-up from the hotel or management. For this price point, both the service and accountability are unacceptable. This stay was extremely frustrating, and we will seriously reconsider staying here again.

    We are wrapping up yet another fabulous stay at the Hilton Bentley Miami/South beach. The resort is in an excellent location, far enough south from the craziness of the main Ocean Drive drag, yet still walkable to just about anything you'd want to do in South Beach. What puts this hotel into the top echelon is the unparalleled customer service - when we stay here we are greeted as though we are friends or family returning home. Henry is a shining star as is Joel in concierge and many of the other front desk staff. We also love the onsite restaurant Santorini - great food and value with big portions and an excellent happy hour. Staying here is always a highlight of our year and we look forward to returning again soon!

    This property has two main problems: 1. The beach area is extremely cramped. In the hotel photos, it shows many rows of spaced out chairs and umbrellas but the reality is quite different. The hotel guests are only allowed to use the rightmost third of the pictured area. This means that hotel guests are very cramped together and unless you’re there first thing in the morning, you’ll be stuck far in the back, looking at the chairs of other guests rather than the ocean. Also, the other guests were openly smoking marijuana and cigars on the beach which was especially unpleasant in light of how cramped together we were. Finally, while the beach area is technically available until 5pm, the hotel crew begins a cleanup process around 3:30pm to take down chairs and umbrellas of guests who have left by then, and also to clean up the trash. This involves golf cart being driven around and chairs and umbrellas being stacked on it, and it is very noisy and disruptive which makes it unpleasant to stay once the process is underway. 2. The hotel itself is quite noisy. There is a loud club next door which blasts thumping music all day beginning around noon. On top of that, the hotel restaurant has loud live music some evenings. And finally, there were constant mechanical humming noises in our room (it wasn’t the air conditioning because the noises persisted even when the AC was off). We really wanted to like the property but the problems above were quite significant and the property is also showing its age. So I would recommend staying elsewhere.
