  F... Coming from the best IHG stay at the Crowne Plaza Oceanfront to this dump was a stark slap in the face. First, while checking in, the associate mentioned that though I booked a king room, they didnt have any king rooms, so she started looking for upgrades, which were a little hard to find as the 2 elevators hadnt been working since before Christmas. Thankfully, she did find an upgrade on the first floor (room 100), as I was pretty certain that I couldn't haul 300 lbs worth of luggage up 4 flights of stairs. When we wheeled our luggage into the room, I tried logging onto the wifi, as I work remotely, and needed to verify the stability since we were staying 8 nights. 20 minutes later, the portal on the phone popped up, but the speed was dog slow. Then I noticed the room phone message light was blinking, so I sat on the edge of the bed to check messages. The mattress sank way more than other mattresses we've had, and that's when I knew things were nose-diving. When I dialed the extension to retrieve messages, it responded with an "extension is not valid" error. I pressed the "front desk" call button which also responded with an "extension is not valid" error. I called IHG and had them book us at a different property, although I gotta give props to the family of 4 who was booking on the 4th floor. Travelling with backpacks was a great choice!

  It's a love hate stay here ! Love,coffee in the lobby early Friendly staff Amazing housekeeping !!!!! Comfy beds Location. Disliked, Small tv,not even smart tv,missed my fav channels Carpeting in room was so dirty,my feet were black when I stepped in shower Need more discipline for the kids,esp ringing fire alarms,causing fire trucks showing up as we had ro evacuate. Hope to stay here again as long as these things are adressed

  I booked a king size bed room for jan 2-4 2026 . I paid $287.28 in advance . When I arrived they tell me I’m in the 3rd floor but the elevator are down . When I explain I have health issues and there is no way I can carry luggage up to a 3rd floor they offered to cancel and I could go somewhere else knowing I’m forced to stay there because a refund takes anywhere from 3-7 business days to process oh but they were nice enough to offer me a water bottle for the inconvenience how nice of them ( that’s sarcasm btw) ! With some back and fourth we agreed to move me down to the 2nd floor and maintenance would bring my luggage up. On the 3rd I went out and although I put my iPad in my locked luggage I forgot to put away the Ipencil leaving it on my bed . Upon returning to my room my room had been cleaned by maintenance. I tried to make coffee the coffee maker was busted I had to go downstairs ask for help . Finally when I finished watching tv I figured I play some games on my iPad . Took it out my luggage and when I looked around for my ipencil it was missing in other words stolen ! I took the sheets off moved the mattress empty my luggage checked under the beds even checked the drawers knowing my clothes never were removed from the luggage . I went to front desk ask who cleaned my room I have stuff missing the lady says she can’t tell me because maintenance manager isn’t there I ask for corporate number and she gives me the hotel business card with hotels phone number and managers email ! I’m able to reach corporate through the IHG app still waiting on them to reach out ! This is by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever experienced I had another reservation for the 11-12 and I cancelled ! An ipencil may not seem like a big of a deal to some of yall but those pencil cost a small fortune my son saved up his allowance to buy me that ipencil . I paid almost $300 to have the experience of a cheap run down motel only difference is I got robbed and none of the staffed did anything to help they didn’t even offered to view the cameras if I could give the ZERO STARS I WOULD !!!! This will be the last Time I ever invest in this hotel #Update : today as I checked out I spoke to Cyrus upon asking for corporate number he ask was everything okay . I told him about my ipencil (Apple pencil ) disappearing from my room and how I wanted to file a complaint. He seemed very genuine in his disappointment. He apologized a lot he filed a complaint with housekeeping. He refunded me not only the deposit but the whole stay . I wanna thank him for actually putting the customer ( myself ) as a priority .

  Elevators did not work. Was not notified prior to check in. They offered free cancelation. Expected to be out for weeks

  Definitely for sports for the field done the street. They try to charge an extra 100.00 for incidentals that is not documented no where. So that’s based upon their discretion. Elevators gross, found bed bugs. Make sure you bring alcohol and bleach. Staff is ok other than the front desk Nicholas and Roxanne they need more customer service training. The best thing about the hotel is the hot water. Good luck
