Had a late check in about 11pm. Really tired, long day driving. After checking in I asked to make sure my rewards points were added to my honors account. Clerk got a little sparky and said she couldn't cause I booked through AAA.
No one has ever said that to me before. Seriously? Hilton, you guys can't figure out how to have your computer update Honors points for someone standing in front of you who just paid a charge to stay at your hotel? Amazing lack of digital competence.
I must have given her the look, cause then she back peddled and said she'd have her day manager do it cause she didn't know how.
Then i was informed that I had to park at 5guys next door as they are tearing up parking lot.
What? She said that unless I had a handicap plate and could occupy the almost never used premium parking space saved for handicap people who rarely travel and stay in hotels, they were re-doing the lot and were full.
Just what I wanted to hear at 11pm and exhausted.
Apart from the parking hassles, the snark, and the having to address the honors points, the room was decent. Bed not as comfortable as Marriott, but fair. Nothing extraordinary. I wouldn't be wasting my time writing this dumb review except that Hilton sent me an email asking for a review, and when I hit the 2 star for hassles sake, a pop-up said my opportunity had expired. The stay was less than 2 weeks ago! Clearly a device to maintain higher reviews. Your bugging me Hilton!
I checked out a couple days later and asked about my Honors points. Manager said there was no problem, and he'd seen the note. So I went next door to get my car and loaded up and left. Apart from needing new carpet and a kinder customer service, a discount for inconvenience, and a better bed, it's OK for the price.
And Hilton, if you don't want people giving you dumb reviews on Google, stop hassling your customers. Get your Honors points system up to snuff, and stop trying to coerce good reviews. Thank you. Have a nice day.

My reservation was cancelled without notice. Hotel management is RUDE! As a loyal Hilton customer this general manager, Sara, needs demoted or retrained in customer service.
This location ruined our vacation after having booked airfare and excursion. No notice and Sara is worthless for help.
Beware that if you stay here you might end up with NO hotel because Sara takes it upon herself to cancel reservations.

Don’t stay here! They do not value their guests. They treat status holders like dirt. This Hilton needs new management. The general manager is super rude. Hilton Corporate needs to reconsider Sara’s ability to provide customer service. Maybe under new management this hotel would be better run but I wouldn’t choose to stay here with her attitude and rudeness towards guests.

Booked a stay at this Home2Suites in Largo, FL in June 2025 for a stay in April 2026. On October 29th, 2025 I received a cancellation notice for all 10 of my booked days. I contacted live chat and was advised that Sara Coffman, General Manager, of this location cancelled my stay. I emailed her. Received a totally inappropriate rude response blaming me for the cancellation. She claims that as a Hilton Gold status holder I "would have known that the booking was not correct when you were booking the reservation." How would one know that their booking is correct when they paid the points cost and had held the reservation for 4 months without any notification of an incorrect booking? This general manager refused to reinstate my booking.
This is a good caution to others because this general manager is rude and completely inappropriate to status holders. Can you imagine how she is when you have a problem at her hotel? Don't expect her to take any ownership. She plans to blame to customer.

Located in a great spot, no more than 30 minutes to many attractions and parks. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast every morning was warm and plenty of options to choose from. Had a pool, 24hr gym and many other amenities you don't see often when staying in hotels like full kitchens, refrigerator, stove and microwave. Everything was clean and organized. Will definitely be back with the reasonable prices.
