- JJJoe Mitchell Jr4 days ago4.0My dad and I had to travel to Lakeland for a funeral last minute! The location of the hotel was in perfect proximity of the family members that we were there to see! Highly recommend the location! It’s is in a great restaurant and shopping area as well!
- CCCalypsOJan 2, 20262.0When we got their, our room was dirty like the housekeeper left and didn't finish cleaning the room. Trashbag was full and laid out on the floor as soon as we walked in the room. Dirty towels and bedsheets. I went to front desk and told them, they gave us a new room upstairs that was clean. The new room had no hand soap in the bathroom, but was decent enough. I personally wouldnt stay at another Hilton again, bad impression since I had just proposed to my Fiancee that same night. So to have those troubles when we checked in was unacceptable. Also, their vending machines wouldnt work, wouldn't take my card or cash. They had a free decent breakfast though.

It had a very strong musty smell which worsened with a/c running. I used Lysol and air freshener spray to no avail. The towel hangers in bathroom were loose and fell off the wall. There was a dark spot, not sure if it’s mold, above shower ceiling. It was not the best Hampton Inn. Overall this hotel is due for updates and renovations. The staff made stay enjoyable.
