  The entire staff (Manager, Housekeeping Manager, 4 Front Desk agents and the folks overseeing the breakfast bar) at Home2, Lake City, went above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. Kudos to the entire team!

  Stayed here this past weekend and were overwhelmingly surprised at this hotel. From the staff, to the room, all were fantastic. Room had a full kitchen, including full apt size refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher with full set of dinnerware and soap and sponges. The bathroom was modern, clean and well lit. Especially liked: electrical outlets everwhere, even on the headboard; lighting was great (even a light by the closet), a drape to separate the room (between the bed and the sofa/desk area), a movable low desk so you can sit wherever you needed to, a sofa that was comfortable and linens for it that were fresh and clean smelling. The bathroom furnished soaps and shampoo/conditioner and optimal counterspace and hooks to hang whatever you needed. We didn't see the pool but would imagine it to be just as great. A great breakfast buffet featuring healthy choices and options that other hotels did not offer. A definite place to return to on our travels when in the area.

  We stay at home2 suites in lake city often. It's always clean and wonderful! The amenities are awesome! We love having the dinnerware, coffee maker , full fridge and microwave! The dogs love it and it's super dog friendly! They just changed the breakfast options and they are delicious! Thanks ! Special shout out to Laurence who always makes us feel at " home" !

  My family and I have been staying at this Hilton property for the past 7 years, and the consistency of excellence is the reason we will never stay anywhere else when we are in the area. The General Manager, Klaudia Lapham, is by far one of the best leaders we have ever experienced in the hospitality industry. You can tell that she takes tremendous pride in how this hotel is run, and that pride is reflected in every department — front desk, housekeeping, food service, and maintenance. The rooms are always in perfect condition — clean, fresh, and well-taken care of — every single stay. The staff is not just polite, but genuinely kind, attentive, and accommodating. The breakfast every morning is always hot, well-stocked, and well-managed, which is a rare level of consistency for hotels these days. The overall cleanliness of the entire property — lobby, elevators, hallways, dining area, and guest rooms — is unmatched. This hotel is also dog-friendly. That said, for anyone who might normally avoid pet-friendly hotels, you truly would never know that animals have been in the rooms — that’s how spotless they are kept. The attention to detail in this property is something you just don’t see very often. Year after year, Klaudia and her team have made every visit feel like we’re returning home. There is a warmth and care in how this hotel is run that you simply can’t manufacture. It is clear that the management sets the tone from the top, and that culture of excellence carries through every level. This hotel is the definition of a home away from home. Hilton corporate should take note of leaders like Klaudia — she embodies everything the Hilton brand stands for, and she is the reason guests like us return year after year. Without hesitation — 5 stars.
