What a surprise this hotel was!! Over the years, Holliday Inn resort has changed and the quality is not always consistent. For example, I’m a gold rewards member and I had two hotels. Tell me that all those their Holliday Inn they don’t honor that acknowledge it! This was a last-minute reservation on my way to lower Florida and I was absolutely impressed from the minute. I walked in the front desk. The room is the beautiful layout and so extremely moderately priced in comparison to the rest of Florida. In addition, I had a blood sugar drop late that night and this INCREDIBLE desk clerk ( Stephanie Nader) immediately brought something to my room to address it!!! I’m a “road warrior” and travel 997 miles each way to see family in Michigan and 850 each way to visit family in Florida. The experience with this hotel has forced me to just get a map and document along my route which hotels I will stay at in the future and definitely this will be my stopping point from this point on!

FILTH! My family chose to stay at this location for a very brief rest on our way to Disney World for a Christmas Vacation. We paid over $200 for a single night (really about 8 hours), but that's not what compelled me to write this review. It was around 11:00pm when we arrived and the place seemed nice and accommodating. We got two queen beds and planned on our oldest of three children to sleep on the pullout couch. I could not have identified what was on this couch with a scientific microscope and petri dish (please see the attached pictures). I had been provided with some sheets at the desk to put on top of this. Needless to say, my child did not sleep on this mattress. I would have not made an animal sleep on this mattress. We slept three in one bed, queen, and two on the other queen, and NONE OF US got any rest because the cleanliness of the whole room was now immediately brought into question. As a father, you are expected to protect your children and I could not sleep knowing that I had not done the proper research and I put my family in that horrible situation. Things looked clean, except for obviously the pullout couch, but how can I know for certain? I should not have to start asking myself these questions. The next morning, my conscious would not allow me to just walk away without notifying someone about the cleanliness, or lack thereof, of this room. I made sure to take plenty of pictures and even a video for evidence. When I showed this to the front desk attendant and later the manager, they were both apologetic. They offered a "price adjustment" which was nice, $50.00, but I was going to have to "Call Expedia" and work out all of the details myself-- a fool's errand, in my opinion. Since I booked through Expedia, there was nothing more that they could do. They could not even provide me with a number to call. I was supposed to call some faceless Expedia telephone operator and provide all of the details and correct an issue that I did not create-- put more work on me! Again, a fool's errand, not worth $50.00, to stay on the phone all day and most likely not come to a decent resolution. Thankfully, we had an awesome time at Disney World and this bump-in-the-road did not derail our entire Christmas Vacation-- it just got it off to a really, really bad start. We will not be making this mistake again! I have stayed at enough hotels to know that if they wanted to make things right, they easily could have done so. Myself, and my family, were simply not worth the time and effort. Please... please do not make the same mistake that I did! Choose somewhere else to stay! Anywhere else! Take a look at those pictures that are attached! That unidentifiable filth was on a bed that was intended for a human being-- my child! Again, we were not worth the effort to make things right and this is why I felt compelled to write this review. This place, nor any other Holiday Inn & Suites, will never get another dollar from us. Despicable!

It's just a very old hotel with old furnitures. The carpet needs deep cleaning coz it looks really dirty. The newer hotel nearby that we always stay was full so got no choice to stay in this hotel for the night and it's late. Staff are nice.

Rooms are very outdated and smell musty. Hair in the bathtub when we arrived. There was a roach on the tv cabinet after my dad put drinks in the fridge right after we arrived. I guess it is Florida. They do have a nice bar area if that is your kinda thing. We felt safe at this location.

Skip this one if you can. 2nd time we are staying here for a night as this hotel is located great for our stop going to FL. 1st time we were not impressed with it as it needs updating and the elevator situation there is super slow. But the great a la cart breakfast made up for the stay as our 4 year old daughter loved the waffles and we had very friendly staff as well. This time I was asked during online booking if I wanted to pay upfront for breakfast which I gladly did at the time coming to find out that the breakfast now is a Continental buffet style just like at the Holiday inn Express but you have to pay for it. Morning was available being there early AM. The two staff people were more with their heads in their phone then trying to help and the garbage was already stacking around the can on the floor that didn't seem to bother anyone. No knifes, empty orange juice, jelly empty on almost every table, eggs, bacon and sausage at the minimum level, muffins in a plastic bag. As a travel warrior I'm used to that at the express hotels but it's free and you have more choices. This hotel experience was so bad, swing other families coming out the breakfast area wondering why we had to pay for this If you have no other option than staying at this hotel that needs major updates in their rooms, skip the breakfast cost, there is a great breakfast restaurant across the street with friendly service. I guess what I'm trying to say is that for the price you are paying for the hotel, service and food, I would not recommend going here. Unfortunately a trend I see for years, price hiking while you get less when expected more.
