This ride will NEVER get old
From the outside, the hotel already looks creepy in the best way — and once you walk inside, the atmosphere is next level. The details, the music, the storyline… it really feels like you stepped into an episode of The Twilight Zone.
And then the drop
Every single time I think I’m prepared, and every single time I’m not. The random drop sequence makes it so much better because you never fully know what’s coming. That weightless stomach-drop feeling is wild but so fun.
It’s the perfect mix of spooky, thrilling, and nostalgic. Not just a basic drop ride — the whole experience from start to finish makes it iconic.
10/10 would scream again.

Attenzione è un attrazione pericolosa! Troppo alto lo sbalzo della cabina! Da evitare assolutamente per che soffre di cuore. Di schiena e nausea!

Very enjoyable experience from when you are walking through the hotel to the ride. We waited about 45 minutes to ride this and it was one of the ones we felt was worth the wait.

If you’re coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and skipping The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, you’re doing it wrong. I’ve been riding this since I was a kid, and it still hits the exact same way every single time.
From the moment you walk into the Hollywood Tower Hotel, the details are insane. The dusty lobby, the old bellhop desk, the eerie music, the pre show storyline tying into The Twilight Zone theme it’s one of the most immersive queues in all of Walt Disney World. Even when the line is long, it’s worth it just to soak in the atmosphere.
The drop sequence is still elite. You never quite know when it’s coming or how many times you’re about to launch and fall. That weightless stomach drop feeling never gets old. And when those doors open at the top and you see the park skyline for a split second before dropping again, that’s a core memory every time.
It’s intense but not over the top. Perfect mix of thrill and nostalgia. If you grew up riding it, it’s even better as an adult because you appreciate the theming and storytelling on another level.
Absolute classic. Still one of the best rides at Disney, hands down.

This ride could of been so much better if they had to turned into a roller coaster that goes through the hotel since Disney is known for its special affects they could of totally had to where we go out into the halls of ghost that disappears or scared you popping up as you come closer to them. Instead you only see ghost when the elevator doors open and close back and then you drop. After you have done this ride one or two times it's not worth riding again much less paying to get a lighting pass for. Disney turn this into a ghost ratatouille ride, it would make it great
