This hotel is my favorite at Disney! This time we had a “resort view room” but it was SO FAR from the lobby I had no idea it could even be that far! It was nice and quiet but was a hike with a 2 year old. The cast members are great though! My kids loved finding Max and Flounder and receiving buttons!

I don't know how it could possibly be better. Disney has it going on; logistics, customer service, comfort it's all there. If you are planning a trip, definitely stay on property, it is well worth the cost if you are able.

I stayed here with my son for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed the resort's excellent restaurants. The pool area was also fantastic. The room was nice and functional, but the room service wasn't up to the standard one would expect.

I rarely write reviews for premium hotels because most are fine. This hotel had three issues, despite being a premium option at the resort; 1. No bedside tables, which you can manage (put phone and water bottle on desk…) so not a huge issue, but one inconvenience; 2. The six pillows on the bed were low quality, uncomfortable ones, although my wife found the single one that was just ok. This is major for me as last night I faced the option of sleeping poorly with no pillow or sleeping poorly with my head on a balloon and I leave today in a bad mood; 3. Hotel phone help is always friendly but managed from a multi-hotel location. I needed water (which requires that you go to a vending machine), but the person I talked to told me it was near the elevator on my 3rd floor. After searching and searching and talking with someone else I found this to be untrue: it was on the ground floor, way down the hall. Hate to complain, but after a poor night sleep I’m sharing my unhappy experience.

Still very expensive, much less magical This is our 4th trip staying at the Yacht or Beach Club in the last 5 years, and unfortunately, it was significantly less positive than our prior experiences. Disney has made a lot of changes to try to improve margin in the COVID era, and those changes meaningfully diminish the resort experience. They also seem to have replaced their previously knowledge and friendly staff members with newer employees who not as strong in either area. Upon arrival, we learned that instead of the garden view room we had paid extra for, we’d been “upgraded” to a slightly larger standard view room. When we got to the room, there were little bugs which appeared to be fleas. We are able to move to a different room, but only after spending the night in that one. The staff also seemed to be a lot less friendly and helpful that ever before. I observed one staff member chastise a guest for letting her pre-teen daughter change in a bathroom stall in the Yacht Club bathroom. The guest explained that she needed to do it in the bathroom because she’d had to check out of her room at 11, but the staff member remained adamant that they leave and find another place to change. The dearth of housekeeping was another major issue. We stayed 4 nights and did not have our room cleaned a single time, despite the posted claim that our room would be cleaned every other day. Once, when my 5-year-old spilled milk on the bed, we asked to have the sheets changed, and were instead brought a bag of towels and sheets. If I had it to do again, I would stay off-site. There just isn’t any real benefit to staying on-site when prices are so high and service is so poor.
