First time staying in this resort. Staying in the springs. Had a 1 bedroom. Loved the shower and always love the shampoo soap. Great location, not a lot of walking to get to room. The lobby and food court were close by. Did not eat at the food court so don’t know how the food is there. My only issue is the comfort of the furniture.

There’s been 5 DEATHS in the last 30 days at the Disney here. It’s very alarming considering their yearly national average is 70. Also Keep in mind the crime rate in Orlando is twice the national average. Just going to some local shops and stores-There’s armed guards that check your receipt receipts. Not use to that. It’s beautiful no doubt! Just be very very careful.

We stay here a few times a year. I love the location in preferred because we can walk to Disney Springs. Everyone is always nice and cleaning staff does a great job, but the details have gone downhill. The shower has some stains and mold. The holder for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was broken but remained all week. Scuffs on the ceiling and stains on the wall, though it doesn't ruin the experience but seems they don't care as much as they used to.

Pros:
- Proximity to Disney Springs (walk can range anywhere from 10-30 minutes depending on where your room is).
- Resort landscaping is pretty.
- Deluxe resort benefits.
- More affordable than other resorts in this category.
Cons:
- Theming may be lackluster to some.
- Rooms smell of mildew (this is normal in Florida, but not great at this price point).
- Bus times are all over the place. I would expect Disney of all companies to have a mechanism that accurately updates wait time for buses, but alas it doesn't appear they do. There were times where a bus arrived 20+ minutes earlier than what was estimated on the board.
If you want to go to Disney Springs a lot during your visit, this is a resort that should be on your radar. Personally, I will not stay here again, but am glad I checked it out.

Chloe(at the front desk) was extremely kind and helpful when we arrived and had an issue with our reservation. Chloe got the issue resolved quickly, and we are extremely happy with our room. Saratoga Springs rooms are made solid, they have great access to pools, and they are all within walking distance of Disney Springs. BONUS: They are among the cheapest, point-wise, of any DVC rooms! We love this place!
