We used to stay here a lot but have more recently opted for hotels with closer park access. However the new room refurbs have me rethinking this! We stayed in a studio and it is so spacious! Plus, goodbye to the days of the uncomfortable pull out couch and hello soft Murphy bed! Everything is so sleek and inviting. Plus my kids love "hey Disney" Alexa.

My family stayed in a 1 bedroom villa for my daughter's 3rd birthday trip. The room was perfect for 4 adults and a toddler. But the best part was the Cast - I had a third-party decorate the room for my daughter and wife's birthday, and the Cast in Housekeeping added to the magic with some gifts and a towel "cake" decoration! Our stay now has us seriously investigating DVC to stay in similar accommodations in the future.

This place is quiet and cozy. It doesnt have the disney feel like other resorts do. But thats ok. I think in a way that would take away from that late 1800s saratoga retreat charm that this place aspires to be. Of course you do get plenty of disney magic feel if you stay on the disney springs view side of the resort. If you want a quiet and relaxing resort with horses, racing and art themes. Then this is the place.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the pleasant — yet bittersweet — opportunity to enjoy a staycation at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa this weekend. My dad had originally booked a 2-bedroom villa for himself and my grandpa, but when plans changed unexpectedly, we were lucky enough to stay. I’ve always loved this resort. The newly refurbished rooms feel fresh and modern while still keeping that classic Saratoga charm. The 2-bedroom villa in The Paddock was spacious, comfortable, and truly felt like home — that DVC vibe just hits different. The Paddock area was a great location. Close enough to the main building, but with its own pool and splash pad — which my son absolutely loved. The grounds here are beautiful and peaceful, especially with the golf course views from Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. It’s a big resort, but in the best way — perfect for walking around and soaking it all in. We grabbed food at The Artist’s Palette and everything was fresh and delicious with great options for adults and kids. Being able to walk to Disney Springs is another huge plus — we enjoyed dinner at D-Luxe Burger and the walk back was just as nice. All things considered, it was a wonderful weekend away. Even though the circumstances were emotional, Saratoga has a way of wrapping you in comfort when you need it most. Beautiful resort, relaxing atmosphere, and always feels like coming home. 🏇✨

Jan. 2026 Update (from previous WDW review in 2024) - Another fun but chilly time at Walt Disney World and this time disability access was greatly improved. So I'm bumping up my evaluation to 5 stars. My granddaughters both loved the experience and my older granddaughter with the terrible disease (SMA - see previous review) was able to enjoy rides and shows without requiring her parents to "argue" with castmates about this. Another thing I love about Disney - they were generally responsive to complaints in this case. We generally follow my son's family in staying at a resort. This time they had to stay at their home resort as they were unable to move to one along the monorail. Considering my granddaughter's health issue, the monorail would have been easier and quicker for her to navigate than the buses. Wish for them that there was an easier way to make the change. However, all the bus drivers were just great and my younger granddaughter loved seeing which character would be on the bus we accessed (her favorites were the Mickey bus and the Donald bus though she really liked them all). Great time! Thanks Disney!!
