This is the first time my wife and I have taken our kids to Disney, and the first time we’ve stayed at a Disney resort.
From the moment we pulled up it has only exceeded our expectations.
From check to the food and everything in between, we’ve had the best time.
We stayed in the 1950’s building which is pretty close to the gondolas making it super convenient to get to Hollywood Studios and Epcot.
We enjoyed late-night food in the room after a long day in the park, and it did not disappoint. We had a large pepperoni pizza which was pretty great!
Don’t let the small room size keep you from choosing to stay here.
We’re a family of 5, 3 small kids, but it was plenty. Especially since you’re never really there. Ha!

We LOVE Pop Century! This is our go to hotel for all of our Disney trips, and we take multiple trips throughout the year. This is one of the only Value resorts along the Skyliner, making it the most cost friendly + the use of the Skyliner. The theming around the hotel is very cute, and very different depending on the decade your room is in. We have stayed in the 50's, 80's and 90's and have loved all of them. The 80's and 90's can be a little bit of a walk to the Skyliner, but definitely not bad. I feel like the noise levels are always respectful, and easy to sleep compared to a lot of other hotels in the area. Because it is a Skyliner resort, you only have to take the buses to Magic Kingdom and to Animal Kingdom- which is so nice. They also do not share buses like other Value resorts on property which makes you arrive at your destination much faster than other resorts. The room- we book standard and always receive a clean room, a comfy bed + comfy murphy bed. The murphy bed is a table and two chairs when not in use, and folds down to make a bed that is just as comfortable as the other bed in the room. I like that the toilet and shower have its own door, so the person showering is not bothering the person getting ready at the sink. I also like that if someone is sleeping, you can also block off the sink area as well from the sleeping area. The mini fridge is actually just a beverage cooler, so keep that in mind when packing food to stay in this hotel as it will not keep certain frigerated items at the right temperature necessary. Housekeeping is once every other day, and they usually do something cute with your kids stuffed animals and special blankets, altough not always. The cafe at Pop actually has really good food at decent prices. We like that we can get healthier meals after a long day of eating poorly in the parks. The gift shop is also very cute and has quite a diversity of shopping. This is, and always will be, our favorite among all of Disney's Value Resorts.

The welcome staff outside when you first arrive to park were not operating at the Disney level.
The front desk cast members were great and helpful.
The resort themes and decorations were amazing and clever! The resort is kid friendly.
The room was a let down as far as cleanliness goes. It does not help that the policy of this resort is to clean on the third day of your stay.
The room is tiny as it is, and it felt cramped and dirty quickly with the overflowing trash and dirty towels.
The walls are also thin so beware.
The pool options were nice and plentiful. The lifeguards were attentive and took their job seriously.
The dining hall was a chaotic mess, and the tables were dirty. As usual for this tier of eatery, the food was heat lamp overpriced cafeteria level quality.
The skyliner proximity was nice, and it made getting to Hollywood Studios and Epcot a smooth ride.

This hotel was a bit hit and miss.
Our room was clean, modern and had plenty of storage.
The skyliner was a great addition. Really made our Epcot/HS travel a lot easier.
The buses weren't great. Quite often we found ourselves standing due to the bus being full. Not ideal with a youngster and a stroller. We had a 30 minute wait at Disney Springs one evening, which is far too long.
The bus drivers however were fantastic. Most seemed to really love their jobs.
The food court selection was good. Most staff were friendly here.
We had very poor results ordering milkshakes and ice creams. Waits of between 10-15 minutes were common, resulting in food going cold whilst we waited. There was no option to sit down and have them bring the shakes to you.
The staff cleaning tables were fantastic. Very friendly and engaging with our son.
Frustratingly, our neighbours who had just arrived decided to excitedly decorate their window at midnight. The doors slam shut, so their constant going in and out to check the display was not what we needed at midnight.
We had a nice time, but would not return.
