We stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort for two nights. The check-in process was fast and smooth, and the staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. On the downside, the food court experience was disappointing. The service there was not good, and the area also felt somewhat dirty, which was unexpected for a Disney property. Our room, however, was a positive surprise. We were upgraded to a larger room than the standard one, and it was spacious and comfortable. The room was themed after the Disney movie Cars, which was fun and very well done, especially for families. That said, the building itself had a strange odor in the hallways that caught our attention and took away from the overall experience. One major negative point was housekeeping. Our room was not cleaned during our stay, which we found unacceptable, especially considering that this is not a cheap hotel. It’s hard to understand why daily room cleaning is not provided at this price level. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent, very close to the parks, and the bus transportation to and from the parks is very efficient and convenient. Overall, the resort has great theming, good rooms, and an excellent location, but improvements are definitely needed in housekeeping and food court service.

This resort exceeded all of my expectations. This resort is divided into four sections. Cars, finding Nemo, Lion King, and little mermaid. This resort has bus transportation and even better it has access to the skyliner transport system. This made it easy to go anywhere we needed to go. The rooms were themed on the section you were in. We loved the finding Nemo characters design and decorations. Some of our family were in the cars section and it was just as amazing and fun. This resort has a centrally located dining area and a centrally located Disney store. The pools are very large and extremely nice with lots of seating and shade if you want it. A bar is located close to the largest pool. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are well equipped and comfortable to use. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for others.

Great location being able to use the Skyliner and service is always wonderful in Disney. We stayed in a Little Mermaid room and it was ok for a couple of nights. It is definitely dated, beds were not as comfortable as at other Disney properties. The hardware was falling out of the walls in the bathroom after a shower and the paint was peeling in spots. Maintenance knocked at the door around 11pm to come in the check our bathroom due to a leak being reported below us. Luckily my son is a heavy sleeper... he snored right through them being there. Something about water getting behind the knobs and into the wall 🤷‍♀️ The pools are cute and the theming around the ground are great! We loved the food, roasted some marshmallows, and took in a picnic dinner while watching a movie! I do not think this will be a resort we stay at again, but we will be back to walk around and have a snack 😊

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, especially given that I was paying over 900 per night during Christmas week. For that price point, the level of customer service and housekeeping was completely unacceptable. Customer service throughout the resort felt indifferent and unhelpful. Simple requests took far too long to address, and staff did not seem concerned with resolving issues or making the stay feel special—something you would expect from a Disney property, particularly during the holidays. Most frustrating was learning that rooms are only serviced every other day. Paying luxury-level prices and not receiving daily housekeeping is unreasonable. This was never clearly communicated upfront, and it certainly does not align with what guests should expect when spending this amount of money. While the theming is cute and great for kids, that alone does not justify the cost when basic hospitality standards are lacking. For families paying premium holiday rates, this resort does not deliver the quality or service expected from Disney. I would not stay here again at these prices and would strongly recommend looking at other options.
