- BBBrenda6 days ago5.0If you're looking for unique hotel accommodations, Copper Creek is it. Have a drink at Geyser Point and watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom. Take a boat ride to Contemporary Resort and hop on the monorail to the Polynesians newest restsurant, Wailulu Bar & Grill. Enjoy the pools at Cooper Creek and Boulder Ridge. View the 400-year old trees bordering Bay Lake. Great room decor; not as rustic as the Wilderness Lodge. Take the free tour throughout the resort as Ranger Alan relays the story behind everything you're viewing and the history behind it.

- TSThe SammonsOct 18, 20255.0Absolutely gorgeous facility with nice and large pools. Onsite restaurants available as well. If you desire a Disney themed vacation stay, this is not it. Wilderness themed (obviously) but no Disney other than employee uniforms and some artwork scattered throughout sporadically. Does not take away from the experience at all, however. (In our opinion)

The cabins also have a small, private parking area which is super convenient. You can see the fireworks from the back porch which, by the way, is huge and includes a private hot tub and piped in music from the park. Do be aware that they're loud (and so are the horns from the boats) but generally this is a quiet area. Finally: I cannot say enough good things about the lifeguards at the pool and splash pad. They were so incredibly good with the kids and we had memorable interactions each day of our stay.

The surrounding are so peaceful; it's hard to believe you are a short boat ride away from Magic Kingdom Park. The Lodge is stunning, the rooms are well themed and cozy. Christmas here is magical. This is not just a hotel next to Disney World, this Resort is a vacation in itself.
