I don’t usually take the time to write complaints, but I felt this experience was important to share.
My wife and I arrived late, around 1:00 AM ET, after a very long travel day with our baby. Earlier that evening, around 6:00 PM ET, my wife spoke with a cast member named Jensithia, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She noted that we would be arriving after midnight and let us know everything would be set, including a crib in our Toy Story room.
When we arrived at the front desk, the experience felt very different. We were tired, our baby was upset, and we were met with a cold and unwelcoming interaction. It felt like we were being stared at rather than greeted, and when we approached the desk, the tone we received was short and dismissive. There was no record of our earlier conversation, and we were told we would be in a different room.
To be clear, the room change itself wasn’t the issue. What made this difficult was how the situation was handled. When my wife tried to explain what we had been told earlier, it felt like we were being brushed off. The response we received made it seem like we were inconveniencing the staff simply by asking for clarification. At one point, it was suggested that they could call to check, but the tone made it feel like we were asking for too much, so we didn’t pursue it.
Meanwhile, our baby was crying, and while we were trying to calm him down, the staff continued going over room details that we couldn’t fully hear or process in the moment.
When we got to the room, we were relieved to see that a crib had already been set up, which we truly appreciated. Shortly after, a housekeeping staff member came by with another pack and play, likely because there had been no note. When we let him know we already had one, he rolled his eyes and walked away without saying anything. That interaction, especially after everything else, was really disheartening.
We came into this trip excited and looking forward to a great experience, especially as a family. Instead, our first impression left us feeling like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests.
I’m sharing this not to place blame, but because I believe experiences like this matter. We simply want the best for our family and hoped for a more understanding and welcoming start to our stay.

We stayed at this budget hotel as an extra night after a Disney cruise. It's a cute, themed hotel with large movie characters on each building. We were greeted in the lobby by courteous staff who made our check-in go smoothly. We arrived before check-in time, and they held our luggage and had our 3 rooms ready two hours before normal check-in of 3 p.m. There is a nice, large pool and playground. The rooms are clean, and sufficient, although a bit smaller. If size isn't a deal breaker, this is a good budget choice. There is a permanent queen bed and a murphy bed. The only issue we had in the room was that the 6 bedside usb ports didn't work. The bathroom is roomy with a separate room for shower and toilet. We did not have a good experience in the food court. There seemed to be issues among the employees that needed to be resolved with HR. There was talking in front of customers about co-workers, which caused a lack of attention to customers in line. Some of the food was quite stale. At the specialty coffee counter, drinks were made wrong, one employee started making a coffee drink we ordered, and in the middle of it, put it on the counter, walked away with no explanation, and never came back. The quality of food and food court staff wasn't what we have always regarded as high Disney standards. I am sure they will get the staffing issues resolved. It's a great option to do Disney on a budget.

Stayed April 3rd- April 5th and safe to say we will NOT be returning. Check in was easy, but we noticed upon arrival that there were swarms and swarms of bugs everywhere !!! Mind you we arrived late at night. We thought it must just be the court yard area, nope. We settled in for the night and woke up, got ready for the pool, more swarms of bugs, it was getting in our hair, clothes, belongings, it was so bad !!! All over the pool area, courtyard as will still. On top of that swarming bugs, there is little to NO SEATING at the Fantasia pool, it took over an hour to find seating, why ??? Because guests were leaving there belongings at the pool and not coming back…that was upsetting, also the pool was small for it being the main pool. There was a kiddy pool area, small as well, but the sprinkle water area there, the water sprinkler isn’t continuous, you have to constantly get up and press a button to have it start up again…I had back up to my room w/ my son, and when I open the door there was larva and bugs all over the floor, ALIVE MIND YOU !!! I was disgusted. I recorded a video of it, sent it to my husband who was still down at the pool w/ our daughter. I called the front desk to let them know and all they could do for me was send the pest control and a manager, that’s what happened, they came and checked and said all they could do was just ask room service to clean it up cause it was happening all over the resort !!! So there was an infestation of these bugs then ??? I tell my husband what they told me and he went to the front desk and told them I wanted another room after showing them the video I sent, thankfully I took it !!! So that’s what we go, another room, it there was no bugs there but the property was full of them. Very disgusting !!! I wouldn’t stay here again, between the no seating at the pool situation and how they handled bug situation, and the bugs in general, yeah no, fat NEVER AGAIN for us. Save up for one of their nicer resorts.
Would never stay here again. I made a reservation specifically for 4 people including 2 toddlers (it asks you exact ages of each person) and on the reservation it asks if you have any requests. I included that we would need a crib in the room & we would like early check in because of the toddlers. when we got there the person had no idea how to use our Disney gift card to pay for the balance of the room, it took a good 20 mins with 2 cranky tired 2 year olds standing at a counter for the desk agent to figure it out & finally finish it. I then asked if we could please get in the room asap (the hotel was not full there was still plenty of rooms available to book) & he said he would check with housekeeping & have it ready asap. We then waited 4 hours until 3:00 being told that it was “almost ready” multiple times & then forgotten about. The room didn’t end up ready until 3:15 so after even the normal check in time & we then walked to the absolute furthest building where the room key didn’t work - with 2 toddlers who have been miserable for hours now waiting. Had to walk all the way back up wait in line & then get back to room. Entire first day was ruined. Then we get back to the room after going to pool & eating …still no crib. We called the desk they said someone would come; nobody ever came & with 2 toddlers I couldn’t just walk up to the desk really quick so I had to try to get them to sleep on a regular bed which took forever & then I was half way up the entire night worried they would roll off & hit their head. Next day we went & did some things & then came back again still no crib. New people moved in next door that were literally screaming banging things in the bathroom & even banging on the joining door repeatedly waking us up after already not sleeping the night before. This entire thing was absolutely ridiculous & to add to it this room should never be sold to 4 people with 2 kids and a stroller - it is TINY. You can’t even open the door when the 2nd bed is down. You can’t bring the stroller inside the room, you can’t walk or function normally & every edge is crazy sharp wood corners. This hotel is intended for kids but it is one of the worst places I could’ve been with kids for function or comfort
We were excited to stay on Disney property for my daughter’s 2nd birthday trip. I had called a week prior to request a king bed for our stay (2 adults and a toddler in a bed requires extra room for us) and even also selected my preference on the app. When we checked in, we were told they couldn’t accommodate my request, which after a long day at the parks was disappointing to hear. Then, we were told that we wouldn’t be placed next to the family we were traveling with. They ended up in a completely different building. Once we got to the room, I was unimpressed. It was extremely tight (without the Murphy bed down) and felt dirty. I noticed the outside of the dresser had something splattered all over it. I didn’t call to report anything because we were exhausted and with all of our belongings unpacked, there wasn’t much room for anyone to get around - let alone housekeeping. My recommendation for anyone staying here is to demand, if not call and pester, the desk prior to your trip if you are looking to also book a king room. Make sure you check in early so that you can inspect the room and change to another if needed. If you are planning to spend time at the resort away from the parks, consider a different location. As passholders, we will be more cautious next time when booking our stay especially for a special occasion.
