This morning 4/10/26, I was checked in by Rachel. She's assisted me in the past and her energy is always consistent (very nice). While being checked in she was instructed by Kathy, who I just met and learned is a front desk supervisor, to go upstairs to eat and socialize with her peers who all took turns going to the employee appreciation breakfast (which I absolutely love for them). I introduced myself to Kathy and asked if Rachel could finish checking me in before she went to the appreciation breakfast, which she allowed and even assisted with my check in. I have been an owner since 2002 and mostly usually wait for Danny to check me in (who is ALWAYS AMAZING), but I'm happy to say I have a new friend in Kathy and Rachel who made my check in process smooth and welcoming as I'm always treated when I come to my home away from home. 24 years and still LOVE WESTGATE and how it is evolving with time. #1 Timeshare in my personal opinion. I ALWAYS FEEL LIKE I'M HOME....You know what they say, "There's no place like home 🏡

Our experience at the Westgate Vacation Villas Resort in Orlando was extremely positive from start to finish. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome at the front desk—with special mention going to staff member Sheneca Bee, who provided us with exceptional service characterized by friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism. She truly made all the difference during our arrival. The apartment exceeded our expectations: it was spacious, comfortable, and very well-equipped. It featured a full kitchen (refrigerator, stove, microwave), a washing machine, two bedrooms, a bathtub, and a wonderful view. It is ideal for both families and those seeking practicality and comfort during their stay. The resort's infrastructure is truly impressive: everything is very well-organized and clean, featuring extensive facilities that are well-laid-out. The water park, although requiring a separate fee ($25 per person), was well worth it—offering excellent quality and serving as a fantastic leisure option right on the hotel grounds. It is worth noting that the hotel charges a resort fee and a parking fee, which is common practice in Orlando. We also did not receive housekeeping service in the apartment during our stay (Friday through Monday), which may be something for some guests to keep in mind. We did not partake in the breakfast service, as it was not included in the daily rate; however, the apartment's amenities allow for complete autonomy regarding meals. Overall, all the staff members were very helpful and courteous throughout our entire stay. Executive Summary of the Experience: A comprehensive resort offering excellent value for money for anyone seeking comfort, great facilities, and independence in Orlando. Without a doubt, this is an option we highly recommend and where we would happily stay again.

We recently stayed at a Westgate property and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The overall condition of the resort was not what we expected. The WiFi barely worked, and the grounds showed a lack of upkeep with debris in multiple areas. Parking was a constant issue—we often had to park four to five villa units away just to find a spot, which became a daily frustration. Basic amenities were also lacking. The dryers on our level didn’t work, forcing us to carry laundry to other buildings. The environment around our unit was especially concerning. One morning we walked out to find a large number of cigarette butts outside our room. Throughout our stay, people were loitering in the stairwells almost nightly, and there was a persistent skunk-like smell in those areas. We could also hear dogs barking throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. On another occasion, we walked outside to hear a family loudly arguing on FaceTime about a $50 security deposit, which added to the overall disruptive atmosphere. We even witnessed a man driving erratically around the Town Hall area, which was alarming. At the pool, there was broken glass that didn’t appear to be handled properly, and we witnessed young children yelling profanity—again, not what you expect at a family resort. We also attended a sales presentation, which only made things worse. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. and waited in the lobby for approximately 45 minutes before being brought back. After that, we were placed in a large, loud room for roughly two hours where the salesperson repeatedly left the table, leaving us unsure of where they had gone. In total, we were there until about 1:45 p.m., despite being told the presentation would last no more than 90 minutes. The overall experience felt disorganized and disrespectful of our time. The presentation itself was high-pressure, dismissive of our concerns, and unprofessional. There were also repeated attempts to apply pressure through follow-ups and outside contact during the process, which we did not find appropriate. We were also surprised by how dramatically the pricing changed during the presentation, with the cost dropping from high five-figure amounts to a mere few thousand dollars by the end in an apparent effort to secure a sale. This raised concerns for us about the consistency and transparency of the value being offered. At the end of the presentation, we were offered a 7-night stay to be used within the next three years for significantly less than what we have seen quoted as annual maintenance dues, which once again caused us to question the overall value of ownership. All of this leads not only to the question of why we would want to become owners at this property, but also to a broader concern about the overall timeshare model itself. When the on-the-ground experience does not align with what is being sold, and when pricing and value appear so inconsistent, it raises serious doubts about whether ownership provides the long-term value and stability that is promised. Based on our experience, it is difficult to see how any ownership investment would retain value when the current condition, environment, and overall guest experience fall short. If these issues are not addressed—both in terms of maintenance and the type of behavior allowed on the property—it becomes even harder to justify the concept of ownership as a worthwhile investment. We came in open-minded but left with significant concerns. Unfortunately, we would not return unless significant changes are made that prioritize grounds upkeep and guest safety, and we would strongly encourage others to carefully consider whether this type of ownership truly delivers the value it promises.

This place used to be amazing. We've been coming for 30 years to different Westgates in Orlando. This was by far the best. But it has really decayed, especially on the cleanness and the rooms. The good: The renovated lobby is nice for spending time with the family in the cinema and the arcade. The water park is included if you're an owner. The mini golf and boats are a cool addition They have new bars and restaurants on site which is very convenient It is really close to the huge Walmart. You can literally walk there The bad: We've stayed in both, renovated and non renovated units. The non renovated are dusty and dirty. Several people in my group got allergies from the dust and the rugs. We also stayed on renovated units that usually look very nice. But there was mold growing on the sinks and showers. For a renovated unit, the dishwasher was like 20 years old and didn't work. The toaster only worked on one side. The building where our non renovated unit was was extremely dirty on the common areas and there was trash everywhere. The arcade is REALLY expensive compared to other arcades in the area They can't guarantee a renovated unit and you might end up in an old unit. The price of the yearly maintenance fee keeps increasing lots each year making it less of a good deal. To change the resort to another resort within the Westgate family you need to pay extra.

Terrible Sales Practice NO STARS FOR TIME SHARING MEETING My experience with Westgate Time Sharing.I hesitate to writ this review but I just have to. I dont want to disclose my current employments but I relate to sales and more. My husband and I arrived on Sunday 3/8/2026. Our true intentions was thinking about buying time sharing at the same time to enjoy vacation after dealing with losing my parents and son. Thats why I set up the appointment for next day of arrival on 3/9/26 at 11:00am. We sat down with Paulina whom was very humble & professional she showed us videos of villas on her phone and presentation on a laptop we spoke about so many things. When she completed the costs I received a call from my doctor with bad news regarding a test that I took before I left on vaca. That threw me off wish I dont want to share but I did with her. I even showed her my mychart thats an app that the doctors office also communicate. At that point she said I'll be right back came with a gentleman that was very aggressive which before he started to speak we explained we got bad news about MY HEALTH NO EMPATHY he continued to try and sell us this time sharing even explained that the buildings TOWN CENTER where we stayed they really dont deal his explaination was its more like the projects WOW. Which my husband and ILOVED OUT ROOM just shared with them there was security there the night before for a argument we couldnt get in the building it was blocked. I asked him can i purchase this time sharing from home to maybe email or fax papers i'm just not in a head space he said we couldnt. I explained again we then DIDNT WANT TO DO ANYTHING BECAUSE IM WORRIED ABOUT MY NEWS he just kept on trying to sell i couldnt believe it. My husband got upset and told him did you here what we said. He then handed me a paper and said I had to sign that i've been threw the meeting and they offered everthing possible and I would not be liable for anything...I signed and wrote right beside i am not interested in time sharing i was so upset. now mine you it was almost 3 hrs and this is suppose to be a 90 min.The both get up and another women came she is suppose to end the meeting...Here she comes to sell us another package now I would have considered it BUT SHE TELLS MY HUSBAND AND I THAT WE ARE BLOCKED FROM TIME SHARING I SAID, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN SHE SAID PEOPLE COME EVERY YEAR TO GET DISCOUNT ON ROOMS B/C TO GET DISCOUNTS. THAT REALLY UPSET ME I SAID TO HER WE HAVE NOT BEEN HERE SINCE LIKE 20 YEARS WHEN WE WERE FIRST MARRIED WE WERE YOUNG NOW I AM FINANCIALLY OK. SO THAT FELT LIKE AN INSULT. MY HUSBAND DENIED EVERYTHING. THIS PUT APON SO MUCH PRESSURE AND STRESS JUST WANTED TO SELL AND I GET IT, ITS THERE JOB BUT WHEN SOMEONE IS TELLING YOU THAT GOT BAD NEWS ON THERE HEALTH AND THEY KEEP GOING IN MY EXPERIENCE FOR 40 YEARS PEOPLE WOULD LOSE THERE LICENSE AND REPORTED. WHEN WE WALKED OUT OF THERE I WAS SO UPSET EVEN AN OWNER SPOKE TO ME HEARING ME SPEAK TO THE FRONT DESK ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE SYMARI WHOM WAS VERY NICE. I EVEN SPOKE TO ANOTHER PERSON HIS NAME WAS ANDRE AND HE LET ME KNOW THERE WASNT A MANAGER AVAILABLE. I'M LOOKING INTO THIS FLORIDA STATE IF THIS IS HOW IT IS WOW. THIS REVIEW I HAVE TO SAY THE STAY ROOM WAS BEAUTIFUL WISH I COULD HAVE ENJOYED IT THE WAY I REALLY WANTED TO HAD MY HEALTH ON MY MIND AND BEING UPSET WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF TIME SHARING. UNFORTUNATELY WHEN I CAME BACK I HAD TO SEE MY DOCTOR THE NEXT DAY BACK. PRAY FOR ME PLEASE I JUST HAD TO SHARE THIS BECAUSE IT WAS SAD HOW I WAS TREATED IN THAT MEETING AND I LOOK FORWARD TO SHARE WHAT I BEEN THREW FURTHER..IF I MISPELLED WORDS MY APOLIGIES IM STILL UPSET....ITS A SHAME BECAUSE WESTGATE IS BEAUTIFUL AND EVERYBODY ELSE WAS SO NICE.
