  Ok. I’ll say it’s a cool hotel/apartment concept. There are things that sucks. The hotel website definitely makes the hotel seem more than what it is. The hotel is complete chaos, from registration to them trying to force you into timeshares or buying tickets to the theme parks. Idk why the lady giving the parking pass kept asking me if I was married and I kept saying yes but my husband is in Texas for work and she kept asking “but you are married, right?” YES! I just wanted to go so I didn’t question her why she kept asking that. I kinda felt targeted or something. Weird. The hotel basically ALL closed down at 6/7 ish pm there are a few things to do but meh. I didn’t do my research prior to booking apparently! I do love the room. It’s basically an apartment, washer dryer, kitchen with stove, dishes, pots and pans and even a dishwasher!!

  I love this location. very clean resort. I've been coming here for many years and we always have a blast. Its fun to see from year to year how they keep upgrading the resort in new ways. the waterpark is really nice with the kids and the heated pools this year really made a nice difference compared to other years. we were in the 6200 building on the ground floor witch gives you access to the field Infront of it, it was great for the kids to play in the field while your preparing coolers/suppers. Tina at the front desk really took care of us and helped make are stay so much better. she is truly a all star. I was here for 9 weeks and the only thing i would of recommended is for Sids the resautant to be open 7 days a week.

  This has honestly been the worst stay at a hotel I have ever had. My family and I booked through expedia and I chose this location based on pools and proximity to other activities in the area. I wanted something a little more for the kids. As soon as we checked in (after driving 16 hours) we were shoved off to someone preaching a free breakfast if we sat through a tour of the hotel. The kids wanted a gold cart ride so we agreed. They said 60-90 minutes. Turns out it was almost 4 hours of them pressuring to become part owner as a timeshare holder. After telling them multiple times we were not interested, not one but three people were completely rude and dismissive to us. First night we waited until 2:30 am to get extra blankets brought to our room. We waited 2 days to get our safety box fixed which had our belongings locked in it. When we needed towels it took two hours. I have had to go back and forth for hours, taking our vacation time to have basic needs of a hotel stay, met. If you go to one of the restaurants make sure you double check your prices, we were charged 70 dollars for two drinks. When we asked for a refund the worker stated the could only refund the drink order and not the tip. We had to talk with staff multiple days, multiple times to get that squared away. Every time there was a small issue that could have been easily resolved, it turned into multiple hours of frustration and time being wasted with rarely any resolution. Water park not included with stay. No shuttle provided for disney or parks like stated on expedia when I booked. Lots of teenagers that ding dong ditch in the middle of the night. Staff thats more than likey, underpaid and not trained efficiently. Staff that is higher ranked are rude and misleading or completely dismissive and will gaslight you. I have personally had a more relaxing and enjoyable stay at a super 8 motel. This is not what i would consider a “resort”. I would consider this a hot mess and a waste of your money, time and energy. After all, I did check out one day early to try and save any of our vacation and that also turned into a 5 hour situation. I had to be changed double to receive a refund, so any family that doesnt have that extra to cover I would beware of staying here. That and we wont have our refund for up to 60 days. Unacceptable. Our family is easy going and usually keep to ourselves. I have never had to write or think about writing a review like this because i do understand how it can affect a business. Unfortunately this business is a total scam. They take advantage of people just looking to enjoy a “resort” like experience without setting their finances completely back. If writing an honest review of my time here helps one family make a better decision, that’s enough for me.

  Pros: 1. The kids really enjoyed the activities, especially the silent disco—it was a highlight of the trip. 2. The movie theater and arcade were very nice and gave us plenty to do on-site. 3. We ate at Los Amigos and had an excellent experience. The waiter was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the food was delicious. 4. Overall, the staff we encountered were friendly and pleasant. 5. The public areas and resort grounds were clean and well-maintained. ⸻ Cons: 1. Check-In Experience The registration line was extremely backed up, with only three employees checking in guests during a very busy time. This made for a frustrating start to our stay. 2. Villa Amenities & Kitchen Setup The villa was not equipped as advertised. Several kitchen appliances and utensils were missing. The refrigerator had no ice maker or even an ice tray. We were told they don’t provide ice machines because it would take time away from housekeeping. The only option was to buy ice at the marketplace—but there was none available. The booking description also stated there would be a toaster, but there wasn’t one. When we asked, we were told they had been removed, with no real solution offered. 3. Resort Transportation The resort is very large, but transportation is lacking. There is a trolley/train system, but we didn’t see it until the third day—and only once. More frequent and reliable shuttle service is definitely needed. 4. Cleanliness The room was not clean upon arrival. There was a heavy buildup of dirt on the return air vents (which I had to clean myself), and the floors were visibly dirty. This was very disappointing. 5. Pool & Waterpark Bar Service Service was extremely slow. There was only one bartender working during a busy weekend afternoon, and we waited about 40 minutes just for sodas and ice water. 6. Water Park Slide Restrictions The height requirements for the slides were confusing and inconsistent. My grandson (47 inches tall) was either too tall or not tall enough for the pirate ship slides, yet he was allowed on larger, taller slides. This didn’t make much sense I sent this information to one of tge staff checking in on our stay and their response was they would let management know

  Terrible Sales Practice NO STARS FOR TIME SHARING MEETING My experience with Westgate Time Sharing.I hesitate to writ this review but I just have to. I dont want to disclose my current employments but I relate to sales and more. My husband and I arrived on Sunday 3/8/2026. Our true intentions was thinking about buying time sharing at the same time to enjoy vacation after dealing with losing my parents and son. Thats why I set up the appointment for next day of arrival on 3/9/26 at 11:00am. We sat down with Paulina whom was very humble & professional she showed us videos of villas on her phone and presentation on a laptop we spoke about so many things. When she completed the costs I received a call from my doctor with bad news regarding a test that I took before I left on vaca. That threw me off wish I dont want to share but I did with her. I even showed her my mychart thats an app that the doctors office also communicate. At that point she said I'll be right back came with a gentleman that was very aggressive which before he started to speak we explained we got bad news about MY HEALTH NO EMPATHY he continued to try and sell us this time sharing even explained that the buildings TOWN CENTER where we stayed they really dont deal his explaination was its more like the projects WOW. Which my husband and ILOVED OUT ROOM just shared with them there was security there the night before for a argument we couldnt get in the building it was blocked. I asked him can i purchase this time sharing from home to maybe email or fax papers i'm just not in a head space he said we couldnt. I explained again we then DIDNT WANT TO DO ANYTHING BECAUSE IM WORRIED ABOUT MY NEWS he just kept on trying to sell i couldnt believe it. My husband got upset and told him did you here what we said. He then handed me a paper and said I had to sign that i've been threw the meeting and they offered everthing possible and I would not be liable for anything...I signed and wrote right beside i am not interested in time sharing i was so upset. now mine you it was almost 3 hrs and this is suppose to be a 90 min.The both get up and another women came she is suppose to end the meeting...Here she comes to sell us another package now I would have considered it BUT SHE TELLS MY HUSBAND AND I THAT WE ARE BLOCKED FROM TIME SHARING I SAID, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN SHE SAID PEOPLE COME EVERY YEAR TO GET DISCOUNT ON ROOMS B/C TO GET DISCOUNTS. THAT REALLY UPSET ME I SAID TO HER WE HAVE NOT BEEN HERE SINCE LIKE 20 YEARS WHEN WE WERE FIRST MARRIED WE WERE YOUNG NOW I AM FINANCIALLY OK. SO THAT FELT LIKE AN INSULT. MY HUSBAND DENIED EVERYTHING. THIS PUT APON SO MUCH PRESSURE AND STRESS JUST WANTED TO SELL AND I GET IT, ITS THERE JOB BUT WHEN SOMEONE IS TELLING YOU THAT GOT BAD NEWS ON THERE HEALTH AND THEY KEEP GOING IN MY EXPERIENCE FOR 40 YEARS PEOPLE WOULD LOSE THERE LICENSE AND REPORTED. WHEN WE WALKED OUT OF THERE I WAS SO UPSET EVEN AN OWNER SPOKE TO ME HEARING ME SPEAK TO THE FRONT DESK ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE SYMARI WHOM WAS VERY NICE. I EVEN SPOKE TO ANOTHER PERSON HIS NAME WAS ANDRE AND HE LET ME KNOW THERE WASNT A MANAGER AVAILABLE. I'M LOOKING INTO THIS FLORIDA STATE IF THIS IS HOW IT IS WOW. THIS REVIEW I HAVE TO SAY THE STAY ROOM WAS BEAUTIFUL WISH I COULD HAVE ENJOYED IT THE WAY I REALLY WANTED TO HAD MY HEALTH ON MY MIND AND BEING UPSET WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF TIME SHARING. UNFORTUNATELY WHEN I CAME BACK I HAD TO SEE MY DOCTOR THE NEXT DAY BACK. PRAY FOR ME PLEASE I JUST HAD TO SHARE THIS BECAUSE IT WAS SAD HOW I WAS TREATED IN THAT MEETING AND I LOOK FORWARD TO SHARE WHAT I BEEN THREW FURTHER..IF I MISPELLED WORDS MY APOLIGIES IM STILL UPSET....ITS A SHAME BECAUSE WESTGATE IS BEAUTIFUL AND EVERYBODY ELSE WAS SO NICE.
