I have owned a timeshare with Westgate Town Center for many years, The service is always excellent, the rooms are perfect, and the employees are always willing to help you
You really dont have to leave the premises. We have a water park, gol,f gym etc. Plus, great restaurants.

Checked in just before 6pm, everything was closed. Great super walmart across the street with great Disney stuff. Pretty high pressure sales, but when they start at 38k and drop to 6k something fishy going on. Room was clean and balcony was great. Never saw any train until the last day of a 3 night 4 day stay. Must drive to everything, even the pool. Stayed during the cold spell florida had, the heat didn't work so I froze the first 2 nights hoping it would kick on. My grandson loved the golf course, easy to get a hole in one for a 3 year old and the swan boats were nice. All activities are extra cost. Now for the horror story part...I travel frequently and have NEVER been locked out of my room. On day of check out the housekeeper rings the door bell and beats on my door about 8am. I jumped out of bed. Couldn't understand what the red haired woman was saying but could make out her saying Checkout. So I called front desk and complained, asked her not to tell this woman, said they would tell her supervisor. I begin to check out, NO luggage carts, I had seen 2 the entire time for this huge building. So I began to take what I could to car. Saw a cart about 950 am. I ran down to grab it, well walked im handicapped. Met a couple that also had stayed a week and said the housekeeper knocked EVERY morning, even with DO NOT DISTURB sign up. I was there 4 days and never got any supplies. I get cart, go to my room, where my phone is inside charging. Door key doesnt work!!! Can't call anyone, so I asked a neighbor to call front desk, he did, I yelled down to a worker, many workers, none could get me back in room. I waited half an hour to get the last load out BUT then when I finally try to leave, the elevator is broke. There were 2 but the entire time only 1 was working anyway, so now I have to find the stairs and carry my last HEAVIEST load to the car. There was a housekeeper with a blond ponytail that was nice enough to help me or I could never have done it. Went to front desk to hand in key cards, told the guy the entire experience and he didn't say much, just deer in the headlights look. Apparently the doors automatically deactivate at 10am without notice. NEVER saw any checkout time posted anywhere. This is a great location to get to Disney but I wasn't going to Disney. Google maps takes you to a deserted non working gate. I did enjoy the 2 activities, wine glass painting, cost 10 and ceramic was 8, very small, probably cost them a buck to buy.
We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights
Day 1: Easy check in, beautiful room, great food (5 stars)
Day 2: Spent most of the day out having adventures but still nice to use the room as a place to take a break (5 stars)
Day 3: We were invited to a VIP Welcome Breakfast as shown below, which I thought was meant for us because this was our first time staying there, turns out it is actually a timeshare sales pitch. We had no interest but thought “hey we’ll get a resort style breakfast, hear a sale pitch, say no, and get on with the day”. First off, the breakfast was just a regular hotel style breakfast: dry eggs, burnt sausage, prepackaged cereal muffins and cookies (weird choice), assorted fountain juices and sodas. Also notice how the flyer says 90 minutes, and tell me why 4 hours later not only are they still trying to sell us on the timeshare, but basically called me stupid and poor because I gave them legitimate reasons why I could not afford the timeshare and why I did not want it. I tried to leave several times but then the sales person went to get his manager to try and convince us otherwise. After we told him no as well there was a major tonal shift that I would call almost hostile, telling me that every reason I had made no sense and that I was making a mistake and then that they would ban me from any deals or discounts at this resort in the future. At this point the only reason I stuck around was because my wife said that on a paper we had to sign going into the breakfast was that we got some form of “gift” at the end. Other small note he called me “Gary” the entire time, who the hell is that 🤷🏻♂️ (negative 10 stars)
Day 4: Check out was super easy didn’t even have to talk to anyone just sent a text, dropped the keys at the gate, and got back on the road 👍🏻 (5 stars)
TLDR: If you get invited to a VIP Welcome Breakfast, don’t go; ignore the phone calls, texts, and flyers, unless your into timeshares then go nuts 🤷🏻♂️

Had a great trip and stay here at Westgate. We came to check out the local parks. Disney and universal are close by. All Disney parks were 10-20 min drive away.
The food is 10/10 honestly better than any of the fancy food we ate at the parks. I’d come back just to eat at the restaurants lol.
Pools were clean and every one we had service wise was super friendly
Shout out to Tyler in the American kitchen and David who drove us around in gold karts to our rooms. Both were super friendly and rememberable
All staff was fantastic
I would highly suggest checking out what packages they offer if you wanted to use their local water park and mini golf etc. they have some of those bundled in so you don’t have to pay later when using them.

O hotel é maravilhoso — realmente merece 5 estrelas! Fui atendido por uma pessoa sensacional chamada ****Simon,**** brasileiro, que fez toda a diferença na nossa estadia. Super simpático, educado e atencioso, ele nos tratou com um carinho e profissionalismo que raramente encontramos.
Esse é o tipo de atendimento que a gente gostaria de ter sempre! Inclusive, é o tipo de experiência que faz a gente lembrar do calor humano e da hospitalidade do Brasil. Parabéns ao Simon e à equipe do Westgate! Atendimento nota 10! 👏🇧🇷

Excellent experience at Westgate Town Center Resort!
The hotel is amazing — it truly deserves 5 stars! We were assisted by an outstanding person named Simon, a Brazilian who made all the difference during our stay. He was extremely friendly, polite, and professional — the kind of service that makes you feel genuinely valued.
This is the type of customer service we all wish to receive! It even reminded us of the warmth and hospitality we miss from Brazil. Congratulations to ****Simon*** and to the entire Westgate team. Absolutely a 10 out of 10 experience! 👏🇺🇸🇧🇷
