The rating for this place is about the value I perceived vs what I have paid in the past at other resorts similar to this. We were there for 3 nights and they charged a resort fee of over $100 and they proceeded to give a card that showed what all the resort fee covers. I think the resort fee was $30 per day. There were about 8 line items on this card and most of them are always covered at a hotel like holiday inn express such as in room phone, wifi, etc. The resort fee did not cover access to the waterpark onsite. This is another $25 per person. It does not cover playing minigolf, use of the boats, bikes, or skating. Those require ownership to not pay an extra fee of about $5 per person, per activity. I have attending other timeshare properties from other companies and these items were included for our stay. We did have access to the various pools onsite but only one was really usable because the others weren't heated (or close by) even though the brochure says all are supposed to be heated. When I mentioned this issue at the front desk, the rep gave me a puzzled look as to why the pool closest to our room wasn't heated. Then when I told him what pool, he wrote it down on a piece of paper saying he would look into it because I am not the first one to mention that particular pool being an issue. I laughed in my head. Why were you puzzled with me reporting it as an issue? We went to the one pool that was heated and we talked with another family there and they said their front desk clerk advised them to go to the pool on the West side of Swan lake as it's "the warmest". I was told at the front desk our room type was "upgraded" but even didn't have a full fridge/freezer like it shows on the website. We also didn't have a dishwasher. The property was at least clean and visually appealing, but that's what I expect for these types of properties and the price I pay. It was nice to have a Walmart nearby, but it's usually crowded being close to Disney. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants onsite.

We were allowed to check-in little early. The room was cleaned and ready for us. But the agent checked us in. I'm not sure if she was bothered or having a bad day or over whelmed. The second or third day after we arrived the jacuzzi ceiling started to leak and got our luggage wet. The service was pretty good anything we needed was provided. It would have been good if they took cash. Majority of the places inside westgate town center are cash-less took only credit or debit card. I think it was only 2 places that took cash. The rest is cash less. The amount of money westgate town center charge per night especially staying longer than a week. There shouldn't be charge for water park. After all its part of westgate town center and its inside of the property.

I recently stayed at Westgate Town Center in Orlando. Overall, the experience was mixed. The room itself was clean, but very outdated compared to other rooms my friends were staying in, which were much more modern and updated. That inconsistency was disappointing, especially since we were all part of the same group. My main issue was with the level of customer service in the lobby. I accidentally spilled something on myself and asked the front desk if I could have a towel to clean up. The manager told me I would need to go back to my room to get one; which was 5–8 buildings away and on the third floor. I found this response to be inconvenient and lacking in basic courtesy, especially since a simple towel would have been an easy way to assist a guest in the moment. While the property itself has potential and the room was clean, the lack of attentiveness from staff and the inconsistency in room updates took away from the overall experience. Better customer service and more consistency across accommodations would greatly improve future stays.

Booked a 1-bedroom with a full kitchen through Interval. Both Interval and Westgate later claimed I booked no kitchen, which is incorrect. I was given a limited kitchen with only two burners, very small and not what I booked. I specifically booked a full kitchen because I planned to cook and host Christmas dinner, which completely ruined my plans. I had to move Christmas dinner to another location. The room was also dirty upon arrival. An assistant manager came and said housekeeping would clean it, and we were asked to leave the room for two hours. When we returned, the same areas we pointed out were still dirty. All they did was make the beds and change the linens. This was our second time staying here. During our first visit, we attended a presentation (we did not book a discounted room — we booked through Interval and were invited during our stay). We were promised a $100 gift card, which never worked. I called three times, and the card was never usable. They wasted two hours of our time for a gift card that was worthless. I definitely will not be back and do not recommend this place. Don’t waste your time — go somewhere else. Buyer beware.
