We stayed at this hotel for a single night after arriving in Orlando late. It was one of the least expensive options we found, serving as a convenient place to shower and sleep before moving to our main hotel.
The rooms were somewhat outdated and not very clean. I reported the presence of black mold in the shower, even showing the receptionist pictures. Unfortunately, she didn’t seem particularly concerned, which was disappointing.
Parking was a challenge due to the full lot. To park, you must check in at the front first, as the back doors require a key card and a long walk.
Initially, the TV didn’t work, but we discovered it wasn’t plugged in, which was strange. We also noticed that the electrical outlets were somewhat unsafe, with extension cords connected to other extension cords or outlet splitters.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to stay, this hotel is a good option. It’s also conveniently located near a McDonald’s.

I came with my family and booked 5 rooms and Veronica the hotel manager made our entire experience exceptional she was incredibly patient caring and attentive from the moment we arrived managing a group our size isn’t easy but she handled everything with professionalism and grace She made sure all of our rooms were immaculate and that every detail was taken care of. We truly felt welcomed and valued throughout our stay. Veronica went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and it made a huge difference for our family Thank you for such outstanding hospitality we will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming to this hotel for a few years and I’m sad to say, this past stay will be my final one. First off, after 2 separate conversations at the front desk assuring me the initial card I used to book the hotel had not been charged and I could use a different card, BOTH cards were charged and the front desk personnel did not even let me know, even though they knew right away what had happened. I found out when I’d gone up to the room and checked the accounts. So I came back downstairs and they said there’s nothing they can do about it. I just had to wait the 3 to 5 business days to get the funds back on the card. Also, they changed the mattresses on the beds. They used to be comfortable and soft and now it’s like laying on cement. For what they charge, it’s not worth it anymore and they need to update their old carpets.

READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BOOK.
If you're booking for Disney, book at the Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando at FLAMINGO CROSSINGS® Town Center.
For Universal, Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Orlando Near Universal Orlando Resort or Residence Inn by Marriott Near Universal Orlando, they're an actual respectable company and are in wildly better locations for matchable prices.
Continuation of my last review:
TLDR: Receptionist will lie about policies and laws if she personally decides you're not fit for a room. I returned days later to call her out, and she called the police on me.
I was told to "contact hotel management directly so we may review the details more thoroughly", so I called. Their automated response system put me in a loop when I kept requesting to speak to hotel management, probably because businesses remember your phone number when you call, so I can't get through now.
So I call customer care and get hung up on as I explain what had happened again. I call back, the person who picked up was completely silent, and hang the phone.
The unstable receptionist woman called the police on me the last time I stopped by, so I'm pretty much blocked from communication. I've been looking at hotels for my flight to Chicago in a few months and I've learned not go to with Holiday Inn.
Holiday Inn as a business cannot handle complaints. It's easier for them to bury their head in the ground than to properly address issues. They'll reply to your review to save their PR but try to get rid of you in private so they can avoid responsibility.
After this experience, I realized how important negative reviews are. I never thought I'd have an issue like this at a multi-billion dollar corporation, especially since Google shows a glowing 4 star rating with 4.6k reviews, but there are negative reviews for a reason. For any young travelers, do NOT book with this company, ESPECIALLY this location. As mentioned above, go to Marriott. I wish I had gone there instead, but at least I can spread awareness of Holiday Inn. This is the last time I'll giving this company any of my attention unless I am delivered proper reimbursement.
Nobody thinks they're going to write a bad review until an experience with a bad company.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Got authorities called on me by the front desk beast, here’s what happened-
I had a reservation for Feb 13th that I did with a third party app 3 weeks in advance. When I show up, I provide my ID to show I meet the age requirement, 21. I was told at the front desk that the age requirement is actually 21.5 by State LAW and company policy. And that Holiday Inn had already declined my reservation without notice, so I had nowhere to sleep for the night.
I call their number today, I get redirected to a Chinese hotline where a man was asking for my Chinese phone number, and then this hotel wouldn’t pick up my phone again, so I returned after doing my homework (customer support, ToS) to demand an explanation. This time, according to the receptionist, the age requirement is now “3-6 months after turning 21 but if you’re well behaved you can book a month after”. I ask why I was lied to on the 13th. Why Holiday Inn didn’t accept my paid reservation with no notice. Why the age requirement isn’t consistent.
She kept interrupting me saying “what I wanted”, how I was holding up the “whole lobby”, and to talk to the third party app.
“People are here on their vacation” she said. I was on mine too.
I was firm about my complaint because I want answers, not a bandage. I want compensation for the behavior and treatment of their staff, especially NOW.
She said I was being aggressive, and as I was saying how she’ll probably call security, she cut me off saying “Oh I’d never do that, I’m calling the authorities”. I didn’t reach at her, I didn’t scream, I didn’t do any body language that suggested I was going to harm, I guess I was just a typical “difficult customer”.
Again I said I want an explanation for the behavior on the 13th. She shuts down, said she’s “done”, and left to the back to call law enforcement. I asked what law I was breaking, no response, probably because I’m a hispanic male so she assumed I was going to try something.
This was an elderly woman with a big bun hairdo and glasses FYI, if you see her at the front desk, you’re treading on a minefield.
TLDR; inconsistent age requirements got me sleeping, customer hotline redirecting hell, and got authorities sic’d on me because this woman cannot handle a “difficult” customer that poses no threat. If you’re a young man traveling, BEWARE!
