My stay at this hotel was, at first glance, promising: great and friendly hotel staff, a large, spotless property with an impressive lobby and a breakfast room that looks as though someone genuinely tried to make it inviting. Unfortunately, the moment breakfast is actually served, the illusion collapses. The buffet is so mind numbingly basic—the absolute bare minimum of human imagination—that it barely deserves a sentence, let alone a description.
As for the room itself, it was perfectly acceptable—nicely arranged, clean, and visually pleasant in that “generic hotel catalog” sort of way. The bed was supportive and genuinely comfortable, which I appreciated. And then… the pillows. Those enormous, overstuffed, marshmallow like creations that look luxurious until you actually attempt to sleep on them. The moment your head touches them, you sink straight through as if they’re filled with compressed air and broken promises. Four pillows, zero support. It’s almost impressive, in a tragic sort of way.
And then there was the bathroom—spotless, gleaming, and apparently already occupied. Sitting proudly in the tub was a very confident cockroach, looking as though he’d either been waiting for his shower to warm up or was expecting me to join him. Charming. As delightful as this unexpected roommate was, I opted not to share the facilities and instead gave him a swift, swirling exit down the drain. Disgusting, yes, but at that point it felt like the only appropriate response.
But let’s move on to the real star of the show: the internet. Or rather, the theoretical concept of internet. The connection drops every six to seven minutes—yes, I timed it—and then takes another four minutes to resurrect itself, only to die again moments later. The overall performance is such a joke that even loading a simple webpage feels like an act of optimism. Streaming anything? Impossible. Working online? Forget it. My entire stay became a cycle of black error screens, each one a reminder that the hotel’s Wi Fi is less a service and more a recurring disappointment.
And to think—I was only here for one night. One. I can’t even imagine the psychological endurance required to tolerate this “connection” for any longer. If I had stayed two nights, I might have started writing letters home by candlelight like a stranded explorer. It’s a real shame that a hotel chain with such a reputation allows itself to provide internet service this poor—it undermines everything else they do well.
For anyone who relies on a stable connection, this isn’t just inconvenient—it’s a full blown disaster.
If you’ve ever wondered what life was like before Wi Fi existed, this hotel offers a fully immersive historical reenactment.
This was our third stay at the Best Western Plus on Polynesian Isle Blvd in just the past few weeks, and once again it did not disappoint. Bertha and Alex at the front desk were truly outstanding during each of our stays. They were welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful, which made a big difference and kept us coming back.
The property is conveniently located close to the Disney parks and surrounded by great shopping and dining options, making it an easy and practical place to stay. Both the room and the overall property were clean and well maintained. We also really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which were clean and relaxing after long days at the parks.
Consistency matters, and this hotel has delivered that for us multiple times. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this location to anyone visiting the area.

I arrived with a confirmed Booking.com reservation that stated payment would be taken at the property and that the booking was valid until 22:58. My partner and I reached the hotel reception at around 22:10, only to be told by the receptionist that the manager had cancelled our reservation at 22:00 without notifying us. We were not late and had not breached any terms.
We were forced to wait while another guest was allowed to cut in front of us, then left waiting again while the receptionist picked up a phone call that did not appear to have anyone on the line. When we finally spoke to them, they showed no interest in helping, took no responsibility for the cancellation, and gave us no alternative.
Because of this, our booking remains active on Booking.com which now risks us being charged a cancellation fee for something the hotel caused. This was incredibly stressful after travelling and completely avoidable.
I would strongly advise double-checking your booking and being prepared for poor communication. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it.

We traveled 12 hours by car, and I made a hotel reservation with payment upon arrival. I called 5 hours beforehand to let them know I would be arriving at 2:00 am and to arrange payment. The woman took my information and said she would call me back. (But remember, my reservation was for payment upon arrival.) However, I wanted to confirm that they would hold my room. An hour passed, and I called the reservations department again. They told me my reservation had been canceled because they hadn't received payment, but that they would call me back in 5 minutes to reactivate my reservation and process the payment! They never called! Upon arrival, surprise! They had canceled the reservation, and we had no room at 2:00 am with three tired children. Our reservation for two nights was $290. They offered us a room with one bed, and we ended up paying $230 for a room that didn't have air conditioning. I called the front desk, the girl came, removed the thermostat, put it back, and told me it should turn on, and if it didn't, to call again. It never worked. The temperature was 74 degrees. And thanks to opening the windows, it dropped to 71. The worst experience.
We had a great stay at this hotel. Everything felt new and very well maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very good, with nice options to start the day.
The location is excellent—close to supermarkets, a pharmacy, outlets, and many good restaurants, which made everything very convenient. Parking is free, which is a big plus and not always easy to find.
Price-wise, this hotel is perfect compared to others in the same category, offering great value for money.
A special mention goes to Berta at reception. She was outstanding—extremely helpful, kind, professional, and truly a dream employee for any hotel. Her attitude and service made a real difference in our stay.
I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel.
