The hotel service was mediocre at best. My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights 3 days. The room we stayed in had a nice gate to the pool. The bar service was..weird. The bar tender did not ID me at the bar but asked for my boyfriends ID. We are both over the age of 21. His reason why he didnât ID me was because he âserved me the other night.â Which never happened. It was the first time we ordered at the bar. It is great that they have a quick shuttle service to Duvall street. We hopped on the shuttle around 8pm. My boyfriend and I were the only people taking the shuttle. The driver decided he wanted to make a pit stop along the way to downtown. He stopped at his house and said âalright guys this is going to take a minuteâ then left us alone with the door open.

Stayed at the Perry Hotel in Key West April 5-10 and our stay was great! Room was nice and big and it was very relaxing sitting on our 3rd floor balcony in the evenings watching the sunsets with our doggo. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We love hotels where our dog is as welcome as we are. We ate at both Matt's Stock Island Kitchen and had drinks, apps, and desserts at The Salty Oyster. The food was great and you sure couldn't beat the marina views. Having an onsite dog park was a godsend as was the onsite level 2 EV charging. Pool was clean and very inviting. We only wish we could have stayed longer and are looking forward to returning.
I give this an 8/10 overall score. Ill start with the positives- Upon checking in they had a room ready for us and gave us an upgrade due to being here for our honeymoon with a generous bottle of champagne, THANKS CHRIS!- Front desk manager. The room was beautiful, and we had a walk out pool room, wouldn't suggest otherwise! Lobby staff, for the most part, very friendly. No complaints with them otherwise.
Sam, bartender- 1000/100!! She is funny, personable, and very helpful when it comes to samples and drinks. Get her for your bartender!
They allowed us a late checkout due to our flight being later in the evening. 1pm was the longest they could give us. Which is fine, that worked out... beggers cant be choosers lol.
100% get the golf cart!! Fun and you have more freedom than the shuttle or Uber lol.
Duval street-HIGHLY RECOMMEND going down that way. Lots of different foods, shops, bars, etc. VERY FUN!! not far from the hotel. Bonus! The shuttle does drop you off by Duval street and easily all very walkable.
Go to shots and giggles and ask for Jess, great bartender and fun! Cute little corner bar for some delicious drinks and SHOTS!
Few "negatives" and I use this lightly... shuttle does not pick up or drop off for the airport, that would be great if it did! Its only a 10 minute drive, so I truly dont see why not... bummer.
THE FREAKING ROOSTER/ ROOSTERS... oh my gosh... how frustrating it is to be on vacation and a rooster going off for HOURS in the morning. Starting around 4-5am and doesn't stop until about 8-9am... if I worked the front desk, id have the common sense/ courtsey to chase it off/ away... Please get a squirt bottle/ gun and chase it away.
Help your guests to sleep and stay relaxed. đ´ especially the 1st floor guests. I am just shocked that this doesnt happen... or thought about.. maybe it can be discussed now otherwise??
Cable only went out in 2 rooms... apparently. The cable was out in our room for about 4 days of our stay... which we only used at the end of the night or between getting ready.. but no communication or status updates on the service. I asked the front desk multiple times a day and they had no updates or status to inform us.. which is odd. You'd think they'd be informed since we call the front desk asking for updates.. but I dont know..
I would have appreciated some type of discount, or accommodation for this... umm... issue? I guess... but nothing was offered. Im not mad... just, disappointed.
No white wine??? Sorry. But what the heck!!? No sweet white wine. How do you not carry something like that?? Like a Moscato of some sort... come on. Not everyone likes a semi dry, or dry wine. (I DONT- clearly why I am complaining đ
) as much as I like a good champagne/ mimosa, it becomes to much after 2 glasses so if like a nice switch off. Less carbonation. No white wine in this area what so ever! However, we went to "One Duval" restaurant and they had a delicious kind!!!
Food locations, by the marina not a lot of options, but what is around is not bad! Just having more options or different types of things would be ideal. Instead of just the 2 options on the marina/ hotel.
WIFI / INTERNET sucks and is very slow... very frustrating.
But all of this did not make us hate the experience! We loved this hotel and staff and honestly, the overall experience was amazing! We would highly come back!!
We stayed here for 3 days and overall had a good experience. The hotel feels more like a well-maintained, slightly elevated 3-star chain property rather than a luxury stay.
Service is where it falls short a bitâthey seem to operate with a lean staff. Something as simple as requesting towels through housekeeping can take quite a while, so itâs often faster to just stop by the front desk and get what you need.
On the positive side, both on-site restaurants are very good and seem popular even with non-hotel guests, which says a lot about the food quality.
One thing to be aware of: the swimming pool is largely open to the public. Locals seem to use it like a community pool, which is not something weâve experienced at most hotels. It can get especially crowded over the weekend.
Overall, itâs a good option if youâre looking to stay away from the busy, crowded main areasâbut go in with the expectation that the pool may be quite busy and service a bit slow at times.

I'll start by saying there are VERY few to almost no luxury or even nice to mid-luxury to hotels in the Key West area. But it's confusing to me how this place managed to get a Michelin Key (2024) & they are definitely relying on that accolade to charge a bit of a premium + attract guests while things seem to be slipping at the hotel. Overall a very meh to mid-experience best summarized by "it was fine."
Service - Would say felt pretty non-existent & just there? In fact the few times we asked someone for something directly (i.e. towels for the pool), no one was overly friendly or hospitable. When we first arrived & getting our luggage situated to try to open the door, the concierge was RIGHT there & actively made it a point to rush thru the door to avoid us or to hold the door which made us LOL & side eye him.
Restaurants + Pool - Totally fine but nothing amazing or knock your socks off. If breakfast wasn't included in our stay, we probably wouldn't have went back after the first day. Bar had ok vibes. Staff ranged from yikes to aloof to nice- but they definitely cater more to the marina/regulars (like the damn parrot) than guests. Live music most days for Happy Hour if you're into that kind of thing. Pool area always pretty busy but never wasn't able to find a chair.
Location - While convenient to get to the heart of Key West or other the other nearby Keys, Stock Island is not a very nice place. The hotel is the "nicest" place on the Island & walking around the immediate area of the hotel is super rundown & at times sketchy. Marina, the view, & immediate grounds are pretty.
Rooms - VERY no frills. We had a larger corner room but it was tired, worn, & in need of a REALLY good deep clean. Bathroom & closet was spacious enough. Floors & surfaces felt perpetually dirty. The walls & furniture were super beat up. The desk chair looked as though an animal attacked it, was sunk to the bottom of the ocean, & sat in the sun for 6-months before being dragged back inside. Glad we were on the 3rd floor.
Lots of comments mention overall noise & the paper thin walls so can confirm that was a thing. You can hear every door open/slam & other guests very easily. Between the marina, resident wildlife (roosters, morning doves, other birds), pool vibes, & plane traffic (Key West airport + military planes)â it's a noisy place. So if that bothers you or you are looking for serene tropical vibes, this is not the place for you.
I would not actively seek to stay here again but would if I couldn't find a better option. Nothing overtly horrible but nothing extraordinary.
