We had a wonderful experience working with the marketing team at Key West DoubleTree who arranged our room block and wedding reception brunch at Gumbo Limbo. They were incredibly responsive, organized, and helpful throughout the entire process, always quick to answer questions and make adjustments when needed!!
The brunch felt more like a simple continental breakfast than I had anticipated (especially for the price), and after about an hour, many of our guests were seated in direct sunlight, which made it uncomfortable. As a result, we ended up wrapping up earlier than planned. Because of that experience, I’m not sure I would choose to book the space again.
That said, I would absolutely recommend the hotel for its excellent location and value. Our guests were very happy with their stay, and the marketing team was fantastic to work with throughout the process.

We recently stayed at the Double Tree Key West February 18, 2026, through February 21, 2026. The hotel hosted 17 guests from our company, and it was an awesome experience. The pool/bar area was beautiful. The sales team was fantastic and very accommodating with all the requests we needed. The concierge was very helpful in assisting booking reservations at both local restaurants and boat excursions. He was very knowledgeable and provided helpful direction. Thank you for a great stay!

Because I have a previous review where the owner response was a blatant lie, I'm going to leave another review. My experience was that I used a resort pass. I had to wait 90 minutes to get my FIRST DRINK because the bartender in the pool area told me he would NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT FOR MY ORDER. I did NOT have a tab. Again - I was still waiting to just get ONE drink. I had a cabana. I couldn't get service. This is not the server's fault. He had a lot of ground to cover, and there was no server when I arrived. So the owner saying "I didn't want to pay the bar" lol is RIDICULOUS. I didn't have a tab yet! I was just trying to get ONE drink. Couldn't do it. Had to wait until the server arrived to the pool area and then could get to me. So again - this is why I had to wait an hour and a half to get my first drink.
The bartender clearly said he would not accept my credit card for payment and would only accept a room number. So my review for RESORT PASS HOLDERS is that if you come here and expect to get drinks whenever you want like at Ocean's Edge, for example - you can't if you have the bartender on staff the day that I did.
TO THE OWNER: Instead of dismissing a customer review and calling them a liar without ever trying to contact them, try apologizing for the misunderstanding - you could say that's not your policy and you'll make sure your staff knows this going forward, etc. - even if you don't want to make an attempt to make anything right. I would respect that more than an obvious dismissal of a customer because they were on Resort Pass (given my experience - that tracks) and at least trying to look halfway decent. But you didn't. So now here's another review to correct your unfortunate misstep.
I never have any problem getting up and walking to the bar and paying for a drink. Being told I can't - that's where the problem is. RESORT PASS - BEWARE.

We host our yearly kick-off event here, and Angelyn, Victoria, and the entire group sales team are always incredible to work with. Angelyn and Victoria go above and beyond to make sure every detail is handled, and they make the entire planning process seamless and enjoyable.
Tyrone, who takes care of us the day of the event, is equally amazing. He is attentive, professional, and always makes sure everything runs perfectly. It gives us so much confidence knowing we can count on all of them year after year.
The remodel is also 5 stars. We truly appreciate this wonderful team and everything they do to make our event such a success. Highly recommend!

I can't even express by words here on Google Maps how much of a fun time both my teen daughter & I had on this trip! This hotel was amazing! It was super clean. The staff was SUPER friendly. We felt very safe. We didn't want room service but whenever we needed extra towels all we had to do was open our doors mid morning and room service was always there cleaning room. They were more than happy to slip us extra towels and take our old ones.
The pool was clean and a good temperature. Most of the time we just sat around the pool taking in the sun and enjoying the quiet, beautiful scenery. We even headed down there in the evenings with a warm drink just to be surrounded by palm trees gently blowing in the breeze. Talk about zen!
We will for sure be returning to this exact hotel. Don't forget to pick up your warm cookies daily from the front. If the ones in the basket on the counter are cool, just ask for some warms ones they have in drawer tucked just below.
Don't hesitate and book here! The staff is always wanting to please and make sure that you are happy. If you ever have a concern, go talk to the front and they will be more than happy to help. : )
