Our honeymoon at Casa Marina was absolutely perfect. The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful—every corner feels luxurious and serene, and we thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay.
Patrick at the front desk set the tone from the moment we arrived. He welcomed us so warmly, made us feel celebrated, and went above and beyond to accommodate our honeymoon stay.
The food on the property was also incredible. We had the smash burger at the Dorada beachside restaurant, and it was delicious. The breakfast buffet was outstanding as well, with plenty of fresh and flavorful options each morning.
But the real star of our stay was Cassy, the concierge. She planned the most incredible honeymoon itinerary for us—thoughtful, personalized, and perfectly paced. Her recommendations were spot on, and she truly considered what we wanted our honeymoon to feel like. Thanks to her, our week was unforgettable. We 10/10 recommend using Cassy as your concierge—you will not regret it.
Casa Marina exceeded our expectations in every way. We can’t wait to return!
When we arrived at the hotel, we were offered a better room with an ocean view. The room we actually got, number 318, had a “view” straight into a palm tree that completely blocked the view of the ocean. Another disappointment was the fact that it was impossible to open the window. It’s absolutely insane to stay at a hotel by the ocean and not be able to open a window. That’s unbelievable — instead of listening to the sound of the waves, you’re forced to listen to the constant hum of the air conditioning.
Another terrible part of our stay was the elevator ride. The elevator felt like it was 100 years old, and I have never experienced a slower one in my life. Does the hotel even have safety inspections for this elevator? It’s in the west wing of the hotel. It’s unacceptable for a hotel in the 21st century to have such an awful elevator. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Our stay was about a week long with no major incidents. The staff was pleasant and the service was good. Our room was on the third floor and the view wasn't anything to get excited about I will say for the price the room was good sized and lacked any comfortable chairs or a small couch to speak of and my biggest disappointment was in the bathroom. With the bathroom being approximately 4 1/2' x 7' at the most it's the smallest bathroom of a major hotel chain I've ever been in. The walk-in shower though wasn't big. It could've been better if they had taken the the water faucet assembly and put it at the end of the shower instead in the middle wall because it gave you even less room to get cleaned up, kind of a bummer. The two outdoor pools, the sandy beach and the outdoor bar and Grill were nice and it seemed that everything was pretty well taken care of but for the price I definitely would check out other hotels.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hilton Casa Marina on an award night, and we were genuinely grateful not to be paying the standard rate of $755 for the room. As a Hilton Gold member, I requested an upgrade prior to arrival and was quoted an additional $800 to move from a standard king to a two-bedroom pool view suite. I declined.
When we arrived at 10:30 AM, we understood our room was not ready yet, but the front desk associate we spoke with was unnecessarily rude about it. We were directed to leave our bags with the concierge, who were wonderfully kind and trustworthy, and to explore the city until the room became available.
At 12:30, I spoke with a different front desk associate, a genuinely helpful gentleman. I explained that I was not sure which room type we had and was even willing to downgrade just so we could change and get ready for our excursion. Not only did he accommodate us, he upgraded us to a balcony room with an ocean view. His professionalism was the highlight of our stay.
The elevator, however, is a serious concern. It feels like something from a horror movie, taking nearly four minutes for the doors to close and leaving you hoping you will not get stuck inside. This requires urgent maintenance.
Overall, while the location is great, the property is in clear need of significant updates. In its current condition, I would feel comfortable paying around 350 dollars per night, not the 700 to 800 dollars the hotel is charging. With those prices, guests deserve far more than what this property currently provides.
Hilton, do better.
Just came back from a 6 day stay at casa, we have been staying here for over 10 years and this will be the last time staying. for how much we spent on a room we expect the service to be impeccable, it was everything but that! one of their pool attendants named Christian made us feel soo uncomfortable and not welcomed. It was 11:15 and there was still no beach chairs setup on the beach, we asked him if we can get some and he said in a smart remark " yea in a few minutes" ok.... it was already after 11 oclock but we waited 10 minutes and still nothing, so we took it upon ourselves to get our own chairs and set them up. He finally came over and said we took the wrong chairs, the ones we took were the old ones.. they looked perfectly fine? which they were ( we used them all day ) I asked him for his name and he rudly said "rite here..christian" as he pointed to his name tag. after that He went back to the other pool attendants and started talking about us, they made us feel super uncomfortable. They conveniently gave everyone on the beach towels and umbrellas and made us wait an xtra 15 minutes. we did tell the manager and she was apologetic, but the damage was already done and he was never pulled from his shift, he was working the whole rest of our stay! Then on Friday around 1pm they had our server go home for the day because they told him it was slow, so the rest of the day we had leave the beach and walk up to the bar to get our drinks and food. NOT what we expect after spending good money at a resort ( 2 drinks over $50.00!!) Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!
For management reading this and want to somehow make it better feel free to reach out. We had two rooms under Regan and Johnson.
