Was very pleased with my last minute stay…this is by far the nicest Holiday Inn i’ve ever stayed at. The entire property was extremely well kept up and clean. The staff certainly took pride in their work. Hotel is within walking distance to the beach and restaurants albeit sometimes on busy roads. But having spent all day in the car, it was nice to park it and be able to walk to restaurants and locally owned shops. The beach access closest to the hotel was closed for renovation, but there was another one just north of that location, easy to walk to. The hotel also offered bikes which was a nice touch. Only wish I had more time to enjoy them.
Keep in mind building three is under renovation, but I think those are the newest rooms. I was in the top floor And had a nice view of the ocean and balcony to enjoy.

Visited this location for many years, with no problems.... This time, they were horribly unprofessional, they couldn't "find an available room" (that was paid for weeks ago)...then day 2 (of a 3 day stay) they turned OFF the room key because we had the do not disturb sign up🤔....maybe train the employees or get a different manager. Probably will not be back, after years of going to this location. Very Disappointed.

Gary at the front desk is the only reason I am giving ANY stars for service. Traveked with my daughter to a conference and I reserved a king suite mobility accessible. I requested early check-in, but understood there was no guarantee as to how early I could check in. I sat in the lobby for 5 hours being told my room was "waiting for housekeeping". When Gary came on shift he tried to sort out the delay - after another hour goes by, turns out there wasn't even a room for me because it was under renovation! At what point in those 6 hours could they not have told me that? I finally got a room with a bed, but not what I had reserved. I was assured my bill would be adjusted-nope. Called before checkout and again requested adjustment to my bill - talked to the assistant manager and got offered a free night. Seriously? (Friends were also staying there for the same conference. One room had a fire alarm that wouldn't stop, one room had no screws in the top hinge of the door to the hallway.) Never will I stay here again.
