  We had colleagues that traveled and stayed here for work. The room looked clean, but after laying down she felt something crawling on her. She got up snatched the sheets back and the bed was full of bed bugs crawling everywhere. She showed the person at the desk the video and she claimed that she didn't know what they were. They suggested that it was plenty other hotels up the street, but it's after 10pm. So they ended up putting her in another room for the remainder of her stay.

  Clean hotel. Problem is when you purchase items and pay with cash or card they refuse to give you a receipt I bought $12 worth of products and now cannot be reimbursed by my company because I was refused a receipt. Asked for a refund but since I paid with a credit card they refused to refund. How the heck do you get away with this??? Update the hotel GM provided a receipt the next morning. For people that travel for business and pay for food items with either cash or credit card, they will have a very hard time getting reimbursed by their company if receipts aren’t provided.

  Arrived at Tru by Hilton around 5pm, signed in online, and received online key to open the room. Checking in was very efficient and easy. I also asked for a hard room key incase I left my phone in the room. The hotel was very clean and the Wi-Fi was fast with no glitches. Coffee is served 24/7 in lobby if you are a coffee drinker. Also a free hot breakfast is served in the lobby/dinner area. The hotel is right off the highway, so it's easy to get on and off the highway. There are are also gas stations by the hotel. So overall this is a Great place to stay if you are traveling through Jacksonville.

  My family group of 11 reserved 3 rooms for the night before we went on our cruise out of the Jacksonville Port. It took us two shuttles to get to the hotel and because people were helping each other with bags, we caused ourselves a little chaos. The shuttle drivers and the front desk person, Dia, took it all in stride and were pleasant and helpful, even when I was a little flustered. Dia also let me know about the $25 round-trip shuttle service that would take us to the cruise port the next day and to the airport when the cruise was over. That saved me so much money and stress. We will 100% stay here again if we cruise out of Jacksonville in the future.

  Staying at this hotel was one of the best experiences we have ever encountered. The hotel was lovely, clean with an excellent complimentary breakfast and free parking and airport shuttle. The most exemplary part of the stay was the Awesome Staff: especially Sam, Nicole, Daniel, Alexis and Brelane! They were not only helpful but also compassionate inquiring about the health of our relative having surgery. You could tell that they care about others and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and special. We will definitely be staying at not only this hotel but will make the Tru by Hilton hotels our go to place to stay. Huge Thank You to the above staff & Happy Holidays!
