  Flight was late. Attempted to call several times and was met with a busy signal every time. After getting off my flight, the place was locked up and looked under construction. Edit: The front door was locked and the lights were off in the lobby with a paint bucket blocking one of the doors.

  We had a great experience at the Windsor Inn at Jax airport. We booked our stay last minute through bringfido.com. My husband had a 4:30 am check-in time at JAX for a flight, and we decided to make it easier by staying overnight. There was an issue with my initial payment, but a lovely gentleman (I believe he is Giovanny) called me and politely and jovially helped me resolve it with the quickness. When we arrived at check-in, I met Giovanny and learned the location was under construction. However, this did not affect our stay at all. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was large and clean, we had parking directly outside our unit, and everything was well-lit and felt comfortable and safe. I am not sure if they are always pet-friendly, but the fee was very reasonable. They were very sweet and kind to my pup, and there was plenty of green space for her to walk around. Checking out was just as nice. I met a lovely woman whom I believe to be the co-operator with Giovanny (so sorry if I'm wrong!). She was so pleasant and just chatting with her got my day off to a great start! I have just one note about the location. If you miss a turn onto the airport road, you'll end up in a whirlpool of exits and lights around a large complex with a lot of shopping and a Walmart. If you're unfamiliar with the area or are coming in late/in the dark -- it can be quite frustrating. We could see the hotel but had a difficult time navigating to it on our first try. I don't blame anyone but myself and maybe my GPS for that, but it's worth noting that if you're uncomfortable in that kind of traffic, just take it easy and become familiar with your route beforehand.

  Thank you Ilona! I had the best experience with this hotel. Extremely friendly and organized! I felt very welcomed and the area is great! Lots of stores and the airport right around the corner. Would definitely recommend!

  When you pull up to this roach motel, you have no idea where the lobby is because everything is under construction. I booked through Hotwire just wanting about six hours of sleep At about 1 AM… I finally find the unmarked lobby and the guy informed me that I Booked for the next day (12hrs later) there was no option to book that night… He said I had to wait till 2 AM and they were gonna charge me an additional $40… Any hotel I’ve ever stayed at would have just given me a room that night, but these guys denied me and kept the reservation for the next day(12 hrs later)… They definitely need that money a lot more than I do, especially fixing up this dump… I’m actually shocked that I got 2 1/2 stars…0 stars I hope they sleep well at night, knowing that they have my money, but I didn’t use their motel.. This is way more about principle than money…

  I had one of the most amazing experiences during my stay. I initiated my reservation via phone and spoke with Ms. Llona (my apologies if the spelling is incorrect). Her customer service and warm personality is top tier. I also had the pleasure of experiencing excellent customer service from the gentleman that check me in and the lady that checked me out. The room was clean and neat with a lot of space. The area was relaxing and quiet during my visit. There is ample parking in the area. This inn is undergoing construction but, it did not interfere with my stay. Thank you!!!
