The very basics are all there, and ok, it just felt like management was trying to cheap out on whatever they could get away with. The kitchens were worse stocked than most other kitchenette hotels, including other Homewoods. The non-stick pan was scratched, and I was not supplied with a new one after asking twice. They don't come with sponges or dish soap, which is bizarre for a hotel with kitchenette. I asked at the front desk and was given some dish soap, but the only sponge they had was a scrubbing pad, which the staff member inexplicably cut in half before handing to me. What did that save...50 cents? Housekeeping, which was supposed to come every other day, didn't come until I asked to be scheduled. There were less towels provided than any other hotel room I can remember being in, to the point that the floor mat was hung on the towel rack, in an apparent attempt to keep it from looking barren of proper towels. The fitted sheets don't fit on the bed, so I was constantly trying to stretch them back over the mattress. All I get at breakfast is fruit, and even that was off. The apples were all mushy and clearly not fresh, and they kept putting the same bananas out, day after day, and you could see them getting brown and over ripe. All of those complaints just seem like management refusing to spend a penny more than is absolutely necessary, making a notably sub par stay, though on the plus side, the place was clean, the staff was nice enough, the location is convenient to lots of services, and the happy hour was excellent, and the one place it did seem like they spent some money.
