I stayed there for a longer time and the staff is always professional and friendly. Highly recommend this place and it is safe and convenient locations to eating places and shopping areas and also right off of I-95 so easy to get on and travel to places in Jacksonville.

The staff is always friendly.(That's typical of most) I've never had one issue with the rooms. (Can't say that of others) The workout facility ,for a HEI, is the best I've seen. ( Others are hit and misss....at best) Breakfast has ALL the options. As I'm sitting here typing, the breakfast attendant just asked to take my empty plate. (See what I'm talking about). I would mention her name but I want to give credit to ALL of them because they ALWAYS do a great breakfast service. This location has spoiled me for all others. I think HIE needs to figure out a way to duplicate this location. There are a few HEI that I would rather NOT stay at but I like my loyalty points. I want to take this location with me on the road. Is that even possible? 😃
- QDQuiesha DavisSep 22, 20251.0Location very convenient for my sisters and me to get my grandpa to and from the hospital. The young messy haired gentleman (forgive me I forgot his name) at the front desk helped me navigate how to use the on site computers how to look things up print things out download things pretty much everything which would never in a million years be would’ve been able to do on my on my own. Never annoyed with me didn’t rush me the fact that he didn’t have to give me that kind of time and effort and went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met just made me very happy. To my surprise coming back in I was told that he was fired. Why would you all fire this young man these are the type of people that make you want to re visit a hotel next time you’re in town. It’s not just the location, quality of the rooms and amenities but also the people that differentiate a bad hotel from a good hotel and a good hotel from a great hotel. The difference between a 5 star review and a 1 star review. A hotel that you become a return guest when you need to come into town and I can tell you that this is not a hotel that I will be returning to. Hopefully they at least choose to keep the red haired lady and the other lady Amy or Amanda I think it might be (I’m terrible with names) as well as the gentleman who works late at night as well as the sweet little housekeeping lady it seems like the people are the only ones holding this place together.
- SAStephen ArowakSep 21, 20251.0Just a few things that bothered me. The rooms smell of mold or mildew smell being told that it’s just due to the humidity of outside is such a terrible answer. Coming upstairs to have somebody spray something to mask the scent honestly just makes it worse. I don’t think I walked in or out of the hotel my entire stay without glancing over and seeing the front desk manager shoveling food into her mouth it’s just not professional at all. No one human is supposed to consume that much bacon in one day. Not sure if she hates her coworkers but I definitely feel bad for anybody she has to work with because she is not pleasant at all I actually made it a point to exit the building from the back just to avoid her which didn’t even matter because I think she spends most of her time on the phone out in front of the hotel anyway. I genuinely ended up leaving Jacksonville early because I was losing my marbles. Housekeeping was amazing we actually joked about the walrus and did an amazing job cleaning. Not sure who is in charge of the hotel but he/she/they are clearly incompetent.
