I didn’t expect much because of the cost but it just did not feel clean. The area it’s in does not feel safe. It is super close to the airport so that’s a plus but otherwise I would never stay here. The bathroom didn’t feel clean at all. The silver on the vanity was rubbing off on me which is kind of concerning. And the shower had hair and a brown substance running down the walls.

Stayed one night on the way through Florida. Room was comfortable overall, though there was a noticeable stain near the window and the AC had a slight odor when turned on. Bathroom was fine but showed some wear, and the toilet pressure was very weak. We went to the bar for a nightcap and ordered a shot, but the bartender made a cocktail instead, which took longer than expected for an airport hotel. Still a solid choice for a quick overnight stay.

I’ve stayed here before without issue but the bathrooms need upgrade and this Fri night stay went poorly. I was alerted at check-in that plumbers have been working to restore the hot water. I took the risk; I was exhausted and surely it would be ok by morning. The TV wasn’t working. The customer services button on the room phone connects to nothing, and the operator call button goes unanswered, so I went to the front desk. A polite maintenance guy quickly fixed it, but when I asked him about the hot water he said they were done working and would resume in a few days (on Monday) when a needed part would be delivered. I left and went hunting for another motel. If I knew this info at check-in I would not have registered. I found a better place nearby at lower rate and unlike the Hilton it came with breakfast.

The room smelled musty when we entered it and discovered they turned off the climate control. The beds were comfortable but creaky.
I was very disappointed that for a Hilton we had to pay for the breakfast. Every other Hilton I have stayed at, the breakfast was complimentary. The individuals running the breakfast/ lunch cafe were not very attentive and everything that was supposed to be included in my order was in fact not included. The coffee tasted burnt and weak. I have had better coffee at Pilot truck stops and the food while decent, I have had better at Waffle House in East Atlanta.
I think I will change my rewards programs to the Holiday Inn chain.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (If zero stars were possible)
This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The Hilton Garden Inn near the Jacksonville Airport should be ashamed that they charge people to stay here.
Our first room smelled strongly of baby urine, and to make matters worse, the toilet wouldn’t even flush. We were moved to a second room, which was just as disgusting. This hotel is severely outdated, and whatever renovation they attempted was done poorly—things are falling apart, broken, and clearly neglected.
It took forever to get hot water, and the shower was filled with visible mold, which made the entire room feel extremely unhygienic and creepy. Underneath the AC unit was rusted, open, and falling apart, which is unacceptable and honestly concerning.
Nothing works properly. You can’t call the front desk from the room, can’t set a wake-up call, and no one is helpful when you ask for information. For the price of these rooms, this is beyond ridiculous.
The outside of the hotel is just as bad—arriving at night was questionable, but seeing it in daylight was downright disgusting. This place is rundown, dirty, and poorly managed.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, not even for a short overnight stay. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this property.
