I booked a room for one night last weekend through a third party. The total price was $135. When me and my friends arrived at the hotel we met Cliff who worked at the front desk. Apparently I was short some change on my credit card and he said he would reduce my rate to $118. Then Cliff said that I would need $75 incidental fees on my card which the third party did not tell me that when I had originally made my reservation.
After leaving the hotel for a few hours and arrived back we met Cori at the front desk. I gave her my confirmation number and information and come to find out that Cliff at the front desk gave me false misleading information and the price of the room increased to $288 instead of the original price $135 which is what I was told by third party reservationist online. I was very disappointed how someone could give me false misleading information. Cori was very helpful finding us another hotel at Holiday Inn Express hotel right next door and their room rates was very cheap compared to Hilton Garden Inn Hotel.
If I plan another trip to Jacksonville Florida, this hotel has lost my business!!!

The general manager should be fired — extremely rude and unprofessional. This hotel is not worth the price. The manager should focus on ensuring the rooms are clean and up to standard instead of being confrontational with guests.

Clean room with comfortable bed and full breakfast! Front desk folks welcomed me kindly at late check in and helped me with checkout the next morning to get printed receipt for work reimbursement. Definitely staying here again!

This was probably once a really nice place to stay. Close to the airport, comfortable rooms.
If you're looking for a friendly face at the front desk, you won't find it here. At least I didn't.
If you're hoping for some good food at the on-site restaurant, you may get it after a long lengthy wait.
It seems as though the staff have given up. Or just don't care. Probably both. While the decor is nice, there are gaps in the details. Unmaintained landscaping. Outdoor common areas messy. It's like a pretty package that once you start to unwrap it, you realize it's just that. A nice package with nothing to show for it.
I stayed here because it's close to the airport. Based on my stay, that's the only reason to stay here.
