    I was disappointed with my stay at the Hampton Inn located at 8127 Point Meadows Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32256 due to a significant water issue. The water was completely shut off for almost half the day. When service was finally restored, there was no hot water at all only ice-cold water and this issue remained unresolved for the rest of my stay. When I spoke with the front desk to express my frustration, the associate was unable to provide any estimated time for resolution. Instead, he explained that the hotel is outdated and in need of major renovations, which they are supposedly working on. While I understand maintenance issues can happen, the lack of urgency was disappointing, especially for a hotel under the Hilton brand. As compensation for the inconvenience, I was offered 1,000 Hilton Honors points, which I felt was insufficient given that basic amenities like running hot water were unavailable for such a long period of time. I expect better communication, accountability, and guest care. Unfortunately, this experience fell well short of expectations.

    Roaches, dried up crusty used towel waiting for us on the shower rod from previous guests, laundry room door broke, unable to do my laundry, phone in room non operational, no tone nothing worked phone completed dead. Room 206 filthy, smelled of mildew and musky, bathtub permanent stain of dirt on entire bottom of tub. Would NOT recommend, wall decorations rusted out and nasty see pics. About 5 inches of Maintenance guy crack was exposed while he was trying to fix the laundry room door. Cat litter is on the floor under the bathroom sink? Really? Place is 100% garbage heap.

    Book to reservation had no problem taking the money out of my account when I show up they won't take my debit or my credit card and did not disclose any of that before I made the red reservation on top of me being a Hampton diamond member this location I would stay away from.

    This hotel at 8127 Point Meadows Dr. Jacksonville FL 32256 was a great choice for us. Denise at the front check in greeted us with opens arms. She was delightful and friendly all with a smile. We stayed here while going to visit St Augustine and the room was nice overall. It was clean use a better cleaning behind the bed on the floor was dust and debris. No worries I did not sleep down there anyways but I did check for critters. There were none and no evidence of any. I would know I'm in the bug killing business so it got my approval. We slept just fine. The hot water was more on the warm side not very hot but it would suffice. The free coffee downstairs was great but the breakfast was not so much. The potatoes were hard maybe not cooked all the way, the sausage links were bland but the scrambled eggs were decent as well as the grits. Overall it was a good stay and we would stay here again on our next adventure.

    Roaches - do I need to say more? YES Upon waiting for the Front Desk to handle answering questions for the cleanup crew before helping me We got to our room and it stunk so bad. We turned the AC on high to see if that would help. I then went to the bathroom where the curtain rod was pulled out of the sheet rock along with two of the towel holders on the wall were pulled out of the sheet rock. The light between the beds had so much chrome, peeling off from the amount of rust. It was even on top of the telephone when we walked in. There was bug feces on a lamp, which was also peeling chrome. there was so much dust and dirt on the vent that constantly runs in the bathtub area Went downstairs, asked if I could look at another room she sent me with a maid and three room keys, after looking at those three rooms having the same issues we chose the best of the three Yes, shower curtain rod was pulled out of every wall and every room I checked The room we chose was the best of the worst It also had curtain rod, pulling out of the wall dirt clogging the vent, and then later we found out none of the regulators for the hot water - cold water only worked on hot in the bathtub. Best of all was the roach crawling across the TV when we laid down at night, after chasing him to his home above the refrigerator noticed a clump of eggs. We were finished talking to the staff. We stayed the night in the left and here I am warning folks. Please do not stay at Hampton Inn, a Hilton honors hotel at 295 in Bay Meadows, Jacksonville, Florida.
