- DWDebra Williams4 days ago1.0Upon arrival room smelled musty and mildewy and moldy. I wiped down everything with lysol wipes n sprayed still smelled like mildew. On church trip my room mates bed mattress was coming apart down whole side bed. With couple staples. WE tryed to ruff it out next morning still smelling even pillows melled mildewy.. Told lady staff at desk. She sent man to us at breakfast. We where leaving and i dont like people in room when im not present had stuff stolen at another hotel before. Ask if they can do it when we returned. They said yes. We went on group tour. I breakfast which was so so. out of orange juice or cranberry juice. Got back around 930pm told new staff about issues and he was very nice he went up to room with us and he said ok we are going to change room. Which was good. Next morning after getting ready to leave was about to shower n saw roaches crawling up wall. Made me shiver. Where there's one there's more. Other group members had seen roaches also. We had our bag put on bus. Going to next tour destination. I was just too done. When I got back to church I put suitcase in trunk n went straight to krogers bought large garbage bags n bug spray and sprayed luggage inside bag tied it up n left it out side for 2 days. Then went through clothes and put them straight in washer. Threw away suitcase. Don't have roaches and ain't tryn to get none. That was worse part of my trip the mold n mildew smell and the roaches. Yall need to do better. Roaches and mold in rooms is health hazard. I was just up set my faughyer is immune suppressed and I'm really scare of her getting something n staying in that type of environment is not good. Especially after you paid to stay.

The floor AC wasn't doing much to conceal the mustiness and dampness in the air. I could make peace with a room with outdated furnishings as that's not my top priority when traveling. But uncleanliness? No way. The bathroom seemed to barely have been cleaned with fingerprints on the counter and a roll of toilet paper that barely had sheets left. Unsurprisingly, the dirtiness of the room was further evidenced by the number one unwanted room crasher...a ROACH. I'm so disgusted. Do not stay here.
